Gift cards in PhotoBiz allow clients to apply prepaid balances toward eligible purchases made through your website, Client Galleries, and Scheduler checkout. While gift cards are flexible, there are specific rules that determine where and how they can be used. This article explains supported use cases, limitations, and important restrictions so you can confidently manage gift cards and set clear expectations for your clients.
Understanding these rules helps prevent checkout confusion and ensures gift cards are applied correctly.
Gift cards can be applied during the standard PhotoBiz checkout process. This includes purchases made through:
Gift cards are entered and applied on the payment screen during checkout, alongside your enabled merchant payment options.
Gift cards cannot be applied in the following situations:
If a purchase does not go through the PhotoBiz checkout flow, gift cards are not supported.
When a client enters a valid gift card during checkout:
Gift cards can be reused until the balance reaches zero.
Gift cards can be used together with:
Gift cards function as a payment method, not a discount. Any coupons or promotions are applied first, and the gift card is applied to the remaining total.
If a gift card was issued in error or needs adjustment, you can edit the amount or delete the gift card before it is used.
