How To Use Gift Card Blocks

Using the Gift Card Block on Your PhotoBiz Website

Gift cards are a fantastic way to increase sales and encourage repeat business through your Client Galleries and ECommerce store. This guide will walk you through how to add and customize a Gift Card block on your website using the PhotoBiz Website Builder.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

Gift cards can be used to purchase items from your website or client galleries.
No sales tax is charged when a client buys a gift card.
Sales tax is only applied when the gift card is used, based on the subtotal before the gift card is applied.

STEP ONE

Log In to Your Account

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Add a Gift Card Block to a Page

Go to the page where you’d like to add a gift card block, or create a new page.

You have two ways to add the block:

Quick Add: Click the Gift Card icon on the right side of your screen to add it to the bottom of your page.
Drag and Drop: Hover over the Gift Card icon, click and hold it, then drag it to where you want it on the page. When you see a teal line appear, release the mouse to drop it in place. You can always move it later by dragging it up or down.

STEP THREE

Choose a Block Style

Select how you want your Gift Card block to look:

Blank Block: Start with a clean layout and use your site’s global styling.
Pre-Designed Block: Choose from ready-made layouts with custom designs.

Click Select under your preferred design to add it to your page.

STEP FOUR

Set Up Gift Card Options

Click the Manage Gift Cards button in the block settings to customize how your gift cards are sold.

You can choose between two formats:

Range: Let customers choose any amount between a minimum and maximum value.
Increments: Let customers choose only from specific amounts you define (e.g., $25, $50, $100).

Customizing the Look of Your Gift Card Block

STYLING

Control the spacing and layout of the block. By default, it uses your global site settings — but you can customize it here:

Space Below Blocks: Adjust the space below the block.
Space Inside Blocks: Adjust padding at the top and bottom of the block.

COLORS

Customize the look and feel of your Gift Card block by choosing your own colors. These settings override your global site colors.

You can update:

Form Field Color
Form Field Text Color
Text Color
Button Text Color
Button Background Color
Background Color
Icon Color

Click on a color square or enter a HEX code. A flag icon will show for any customized color.
Click Save Changes at the bottom to apply your updates.

BACKGROUND

Want a background image behind your gift card block? You can:

Upload your own custom background
Choose one from the Background Library

Then select how the image displays:

Tile – Repeats the image
Top Left – Aligns the image to the top left
Centered – Centers the image in the space
Cover – Scales the image to fill the entire background

Click Save Changes to apply your background settings.

FONTS

Customize the fonts used in the Gift Card block without affecting your entire website.

You can adjust:

Text Font
Form Field Text
Button Text

Change the font, size, spacing (kerning), and line height.
Click Save Changes to apply your font updates.

ANIMATIONS

Add a little flair to your buttons with hover animations! Choose from:

None
Fill
Overlay
Scale
Arrows
