If you're using PhotoBiz Version 9 or higher and your domain’s DNS is managed through AWS Route 53, you can add or update CNAME records directly from your PhotoBiz account.
What Is a CNAME Record?
A CNAME (Canonical Name) record is a type of DNS record that points one domain name to another. It's commonly used to connect services like email marketing platforms, subdomains (like blog.yourdomain.com), or verification tools to your main domain. You may need to add a CNAME record when connecting your domain to third-party tools or services.
IMPORTANT: DNS management is only available if your domain is using AWS (Route 53) name servers. If your domain is still on our legacy Rackspace name servers, you won’t see the DNS management option.
Log in to PhotoBiz and Open Domain Settings
Open the DNS Zone Editor
Add a New DNS Record
Enter Your CNAME Record
blog if you're setting up blog.yourdomain.com).sites.otherplatform.com).⚠️ Be careful when entering DNS records. Incorrect values can prevent connected services from working correctly. Always follow instructions from a trusted provider.
DNS Changes May Take Time
Most updates go live within a few minutes, but full propagation across the internet can take up to 48 hours.
