If your website is built on PhotoBiz (Version 9 or higher) and your domain’s name servers are pointed to AWS Route 53, you can manage your DNS zone records directly inside your PhotoBiz account.
This gives you control over your DNS settings so you can add, edit, or remove records at any time — even outside of business hours.
Important: DNS management is only available if your domain is using AWS (Route 53) name servers.
If your domain is still using legacy name servers, this feature will not be available.
If needed, see: How To Upgrade Your Domain Name Servers
Most DNS updates begin working within a few minutes.
However, full DNS propagation across the internet can take up to 48 hours. During this time, some visitors may see the old settings while others see the new ones.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click DOMAINS from the left-hand menu.
Open the DNS Zone Editor
In the Domains panel, find your domain and click MANAGE DNS.
Add a New DNS Record
Supported DNS Record Types:
Be Careful: Editing DNS settings incorrectly can cause problems with your website, email, or other services. Only make changes if you’re confident or have exact instructions from a provider you trust.
Enter Record Details and Save
To keep your PhotoBiz website live and accessible, certain DNS records are required and cannot be deleted.
These system records automatically connect your domain to your PhotoBiz hosting.
The following records cannot be removed:
• A record for the non-www version of your domain
Host: yourdomain.com
Target: 18.235.135.157
This connects your root domain to PhotoBiz.
• Wildcard A record (*)
Host: *.yourdomain.com
Target: 18.235.135.157
This ensures any undefined subdomain (such as test.yourdomain.com) still routes correctly.
• CNAME record for www.yourdomain.com
Host: www.yourdomain.com
Target: yourdomain.com
This ensures the www version of your domain loads your PhotoBiz website properly.
These records are required for your website to function correctly.
If you need your domain to point somewhere other than PhotoBiz, contact support before making changes so we can guide you safely.
Be cautious when deleting DNS records. Removing a record can immediately disrupt your website, email, or other connected services.
Deleted records cannot be recovered automatically. If removed, they must be recreated manually.
To delete a DNS record:
Click DOMAINS in your PhotoBiz account.
Click MANAGE DNS next to your domain.
Locate the DNS record you want to remove.
Click DELETE next to the record.
Confirm the deletion.
Always double-check that the record is not required before deleting it.
