How to Set Up Your Business Profile in PhotoBiz

Your Business Profile tells PhotoBiz about your brand, services, location, and voice. This information powers Ask PhotoBiz AI, which is included with your PhotoBiz Website Package at no additional cost.

If your Business Profile is incomplete, you will see a red banner at the top of your control panel that says:
“Your Business Profile is incomplete. Fill it out to ensure PhotoBiz AI creates content that accurately represents your brand.”

Once you complete this section and click Save Changes, the banner will automatically disappear. If your Business Profile is already complete, you will not see this notification.

This guide walks you through how to set up or update your Business Profile.

Why Your Business Profile Matters

Ask PhotoBiz AI uses your Business Profile details to generate personalized content across your account, including:

  • Website page content

  • Meta titles and meta descriptions

  • Image alt text

  • Blog ideas

  • SEO suggestions

  • Email marketing content inside the Email Marketing text editor

The more specific and accurate your answers are, the more tailored and on-brand your AI-generated content will be.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BRANDING from the left-hand menu.

If you see the red banner at the top of your control panel, you can click the link inside the banner to go directly to your Business Profile section.

If you are new to PhotoBiz, you may also see Set Up Your Branding inside the Website Checklist on your dashboard.

STEP TWO

Scroll down to the Business Profile section within the Branding page.

You will see several fields that tell Ask PhotoBiz AI about your business. Complete each field as clearly and specifically as possible.

You will be asked to enter:

Business Name
Enter your official business name exactly as you want it to appear online.
Example: Jenn Smith Photography

Location
Enter the city and state (or region) where you serve clients.
Example: Boston, Massachusetts

Specialty / Services
List the main types of photography or services you offer.
Example: wedding photography, family portraits, senior sessions, videography

Your Style / Approach
Briefly describe how you work or what makes your brand unique.
Example: I focus on candid moments and natural light to create timeless, emotional images.

Brand Voice
Choose the tone that best represents your business from the drop-down menu:

  • Polished & Professional

  • Friendly & Casual

  • Fun & Playful

  • Artistic & Expressive

  • Calm & Elegant

This selection helps Ask PhotoBiz AI match the tone of your website content and marketing emails to your brand personality.

FINAL STEP

Scroll to the bottom of the Branding page and click Save Changes.

Once saved, your Business Profile will immediately power Ask PhotoBiz AI across:

  • Website page builders

  • Blog posts

  • SEO fields

  • Email Marketing text editor

If you previously saw the red “Business Profile is incomplete” banner, it will disappear after saving.

You can return to this section anytime to update your business details as your services, location, or brand evolve.

HELPFUL NOTES

  • Your Business Profile directly improves the accuracy of AI-generated website and email marketing content.
  • More detailed responses produce stronger, more personalized results.
  • You can update this section at any time. Changes apply immediately after clicking Save Changes.
  • Ask PhotoBiz AI includes 100 monthly requests with your PhotoBiz Website Package. Requests reset on the 1st of each month and do not carry over.
  • Additional AI requests can be purchased under Premium Upgrades.
