Overview
PhotoBiz Auto SEO uses the Website Title saved in your Website Builder settings to identify your business in automatically generated page titles. In most cases, you only need to enter your business or studio name in this field.
This setting is most helpful for older PhotoBiz websites, clients who skipped the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator, and website pages that remain set to Auto SEO.
If you used the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator or PhotoBiz AI Page Creator, your pages may already include Custom metadata. This guide explains how to set the business name used by pages that still use Auto SEO.
The Website Title is normally your business or studio name.
For example, enter:
Example Photography
For a page named Engagement Gallery, Auto SEO may create a page title such as:
Engagement Gallery - Example Photography
In this example:
Pages using Custom metadata will use the custom meta title saved in the SEO settings for that page instead.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This opens the PhotoBiz Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and global website settings.
Click TRACKING at the top center of the Website Builder.
This opens the global tracking and website information settings for your website.
Locate the Website Title field and enter your business or studio name.
For example:
Example Photography
You do not need to add services, locations, or a list of keywords to this field. Use the SEO settings for an individual page when you want to create a more specific meta title for a service, location, portfolio, or landing page.
Review your business name and click SAVE CHANGES.
Clicking SAVE CHANGES automatically applies the update to your website. There is no separate publish button.
Pages using Auto SEO can now include your business name in their automatically generated page titles. Pages using Custom metadata will continue to use the custom meta title saved for each page.
Search engines may need time to crawl your website before updated titles appear in search results.
You may need to update this setting if:
If your pages were created with a PhotoBiz AI tool, review their individual SEO settings before making additional changes. They may already contain custom metadata generated during setup.
Auto SEO uses the website page name and the business name entered in the Website Title field to create a consistent page-title structure.
For example:
Engagement Gallery - Example Photography
Custom metadata gives you more control over the meta title, meta description, and meta keywords for an individual page.
For example:
Greensboro Engagement Photography | Example Photography
Use Custom metadata when you want a page title to include a specific service, location, or other page-specific information.

Does the Website Title change the visible name of my website?
No. The Website Title is used by Auto SEO when creating page-title information. It does not change your logo, navigation labels, visible page headings, or business name displayed elsewhere on the website.
Does the Website Title apply to every website page?
The Website Title can be included in the automatically generated meta title for pages using Auto SEO.
Pages using Custom metadata will use the custom meta title saved in their individual SEO settings.
Do I need to update this if I used the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator?
Your AI-created pages may already include Custom metadata. The Website Title can still support older pages or other pages that remain set to Auto SEO.
Should I include my location or photography specialty?
No. In most cases, the Website Title field should contain only your business or studio name.
Add specific services and locations to the Custom metadata for the individual pages where that information is relevant.
Can I use a different title for one website page?
Yes. Open the page in the PhotoBiz Website Builder, click SEO, and select Custom to add page-specific metadata.
Will my updated Website Title appear in Google immediately?
No. The update is applied to your PhotoBiz website when you click SAVE CHANGES, but search engines must crawl your pages again before the updated titles may appear in search results.
Will Google always display the complete page title?
No. Google and other search engines may shorten or change the title based on the page content, available display space, and the words someone searches for.
