Overview
If a client has prepaid for an order or paid a deposit, you can issue a gift card to apply that credit toward their Client Gallery purchase. Gift cards provide a simple way to manage prepaid sessions, deposits, or manual credits without changing your product pricing. This guide walks you through creating a gift card, customizing it if needed, and delivering it to your client. By the end, your client will be able to apply their credit during checkout in their Client Gallery.
Log Into Your PhotoBiz Account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-hand menu.
At the top of your ECommerce control panel, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click GIFT CARDS from the dropdown menu.
This will take you to your full list of existing gift cards.
Click the NEW GIFT CARD button to create a new gift card.
In the right-side menu, enter the gift card details.
Add the total amount of credit the client should receive, such as a deposit or prepaid session total. Enter a description for internal reference, such as the client’s name or session type.
Click ADD GIFT CARD to generate the gift card.
Once created, you will see a confirmation message and the new gift card will appear at the top of your gift card list.
Locate your new gift card in the list and review its details.
You will see the gift card number, description, created date, total amount, remaining balance, and status.
If needed, click on the gift card number to edit it and create a simpler, more memorable code for your client.
Send the gift card to your client.
Open the gift card and use the right-side menu to click RESEND to email the gift card directly from PhotoBiz. You can also copy the gift card code and send it manually by email, text message, or any preferred communication method.
Once your client receives the code, they can enter it at checkout in their Client Gallery to apply their credit.
