PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder allows you to create easy-to-use forms for visitors to your website to complete and submit information to you. Occasionally, your clients may report an error in completing and submitting their forms. PhotoBiz Forms error code will exclusively start with EC and appear similar to the graphic below:

FORM ERRORS GUIDE

Error #1: Google reCAPTCHA issue or submit button won't work

Solution: This error is usually caused by incorrect Google reCAPTCHA settings. If a client reports that their form’s Submit button isn’t working, the best solution is to check your Google reCAPTCHA account and update your keys to make sure they're correct..

Error #2: Unexpected Error Form deleted

Solution: This error occurs when the form has been deleted or the link is incorrect.

Here’s how to fix it:

  • Check if the form still exists in your PhotoBiz account.
  • If deleted, recreate the form.
  • If the form exists, update the link to match the correct URL.
  • Test the form link to ensure it works properly.

Error #3: Blacklisted IP detected

Solution: This error occurs when the IP address used to submit the form is flagged in your Spam Policy. To resolve:

  1. Log in to your PhotoBiz account.

  2. Go to your Spam Policy settings.

  3. Locate the Blacklisted IPs field and:

    • Remove the specific IP causing the issue, OR

    • Clear all entries as a failsafe.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. Ask the client to refresh and resubmit the form.

Error #4: Restricted Word detected

Solution: This error happens when the form contains words listed in your Spam Policy’s Restricted Words field. To fix this:

  1. Open your Spam Policy settings.

  2. Check the Restricted Words field.

  3. Remove the word(s) causing the issue or clear all entries as a failsafe.

  4. Save your changes.

  5. Refresh the form and try submitting again.

Error #5: Blacklisted Domain/Email detected

Solution: This error occurs when an email or domain is flagged in your Spam Policy. Here’s how to resolve it:

  1. Open your Spam Policy settings.

  2. Check the Blacklisted Domains and Email Addresses field.

  3. Remove any problematic entries, such as “@gmail.com.”

  4. Save your changes.

  5. Refresh the form and have the client submit it again.

Error #6: Check Submission Count

Solution: If you’ve reached your form submission limit, you can:

  1. Purchase additional form submissions via Premium Upgrades in your PhotoBiz account.

  2. Wait until the 1st of the next month for your submission count to reset.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on MY ACCOUNT on the left-side menu. The key to fixing form error codes is to get familiar with your Spam Protection settings.

STEP TWO

Mouse over SETTINGS at the top of your My Account control panel and click on SPAM PROTECTION in the drop down menu that opens.

GOOGLE RECAPTCHA

The first section is information to enable Google reCAPTCHA. You can check our SITE KEY and SECRET KEY for your domain by logging into your Google reCAPTCHA account at the link below:

https://www.google.com/recaptcha

SPAM POLICY

The Spam Policy section includes the following options:

  • BLACKLISTED DOMAINS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES
  • BLACKLISTED IPS
  • RESTRICTED WORDS

In this section, you can add or remove restricted emails, IP addresses or words that you don’t want to allow to be submitted. However, use caution with restricting emails and words so you don’t cause an error code for a client you may want to be able to reach you.
