How to Edit a Price List in PhotoBiz ECommerce

Overview

PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to create and manage multiple price lists for your website and Client Galleries. Price lists control which prints, products, packages, services, digital images, and shipping methods are available for customers to purchase.

This guide walks you through how to edit an existing price list in your ECommerce Dashboard. You can update a price list to include all items, hide certain categories, or choose specific items your clients can purchase.

Important Note About Editing Item Details

Price lists control which items are available for purchase. They do not control the item name, description, image, or price.

If you need to change the price, description, or details for a specific item, edit that item directly under the SELL ONLINE section in your ECommerce Dashboard.

For example, if you need to change the price of a package, service, product, print, or digital image, open that item in its own section under SELL ONLINE, such as Prints, Digital Images, Packages, Products, or Services, and update it there.

How Price List Item Order Works

The order of items in your price list is based on how they are arranged in the ECommerce Dashboard. If you need items to appear in a different order, update the order of those items (Prints, Digital Images, Packages, Products) in their main ECommerce section.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.

This opens your ECommerce Dashboard, where you can manage products, services, packages, price lists, shipping methods, orders, coupons, and other online selling tools.

STEP TWO

At the top of the ECommerce Dashboard, hover over SELL ONLINE and click PRICE LISTS in the dropdown menu.

This opens the Price Lists section of your account. Here, you can view and manage the price lists you have already created.

STEP THREE

Search for the price list you want to update, or scroll through your list of price lists. Click the name of the price list you want to edit.

This opens the price list editor, where you can review and update what is included in that price list.

STEP FOUR

Customize the items included in your price list.

You will see sections for the available item types in your ECommerce Dashboard, such as prints, products, services, packages, digital images, and shipping methods. Each section allows you to control what customers can purchase when this price list is used.

For each section, choose the option that matches what you want to make available.

All includes every item in that category.

None hides all items in that category from this price list.

Custom allows you to choose specific items by checking the boxes next to the items you want to include.

FINAL STEP

Scroll to the bottom of the price list editor and click SAVE CHANGES.

Your price list is now updated. Customers will see the updated purchase options anywhere this price list is assigned.

Additional Options and Helpful Notes

If this price list is assigned to a Client Galleries Event, the updated options will apply to that event after you save your changes.

If you created a new price list for a specific Client Galleries Event, make sure you assign the price list to that event in the Client Galleries Dashboard. Client Galleries event checkout will only show the items and shipping methods included on the price list assigned to that event.

If you use a price list as your global price list, it controls what appears for public ECommerce checkout on your website when you use Products Block or Services Block options.

Shipping methods must be included in the assigned price list for customers to see them at checkout. If a client does not see the correct shipping option, check the shipping methods included on the assigned price list.

Troubleshooting

Why are my updated prices not showing?

Price lists do not update the actual price of an item. To update pricing, edit the item directly in its main section under SELL ONLINE, such as Prints, Products, Services, Packages, or Digital Images.

Why is a product, service, or package missing at checkout?

Open the price list assigned to that website page or Client Galleries Event. Confirm that the item category is set to All or Custom. If it is set to Custom, make sure the specific item is checked.

Why is a shipping method missing at checkout?

Open the assigned price list and review the Shipping Methods section. The shipping method must be included in the price list before customers can select it during checkout.
