How To Create Digital Image Packages in PhotoBiz

Overview

Digital image packages allow your clients to purchase and download images directly from their Client Galleries. These packages are ideal for social sharing, personal use, and at-home printing.

In this guide, you will learn how to create digital packages, choose the appropriate download options, and make them available in your price lists. By the end, your package will be ready for clients to purchase and receive their images through a download link after payment is completed.

Understanding Download Resolution Options

Before creating your package, choose what file size you want to offer your clients. This determines how your images can be used and how you price your package.

When a client purchases a digital package, a download link is sent to them with their paid order. The download link will be available for 7 days after purchase.

You can choose from the following resolution options:

  • Web Size - Low Resolution
Images will be a max of 1500 x 865 pixels
  • Web Size - High Resolution
Images will be a max of 3000 x 1730 pixels
  • Original File Size - Full Resolution
Images will use the original format and resolution uploaded, up to 50MB per file
This option requires the Original Files upgrade

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-hand menu.

This opens your ECommerce dashboard where all products, packages, and pricing are managed.

STEP TWO

At the top of your ECommerce control panel, hover over SELL ONLINE, then click PACKAGES.

You will see a list of your existing packages. Click NEW PACKAGE, then select DIGITAL to begin creating a new digital package.

STEP THREE

Choose the type of digital package you want to offer.

A Digital Fixed package allows you to set a specific number of images your client can download. A Digital Full Event package allows your client to download every image in the event.

After selecting your package type, click NEXT to continue.

If you want to explore other package types, see How to Create Packages for Your Client Galleries.

STEP FOUR

Enter the details for your digital package.

Add a package name that clearly describes the offer. Include a short description so your clients understand what is included. If you selected a Digital Fixed package, set the number of images your client can download. Then enter your price.

Choose the download resolution you want to offer your clients based on how the images will be used.

Turn the package to Active if you want it available for use, and enable tax if applicable.

Click CREATE DIGITAL PACKAGE to save your package.

STEP FIVE (optional)

Click the IMAGES tab to upload a preview image for your package.

This image helps visually represent the package in your Client Gallery and is for display purposes only. It is not included in the client’s download.

STEP SIX (optional)

If you created a Digital Fixed package, you can add optional add-ons to allow clients to purchase additional downloads beyond what is included.

This gives clients flexibility if they want more images than the package includes.

FINAL STEP

Your digital package is now ready to use in your price lists and Client Galleries.

Once a client purchases a digital package and payment is successfully completed, their images will become available for download. The client will receive an email with a download link included in their receipt.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

Digital Package Types

  • Digital Fixed – Clients download a set number of selected images
  • Digital Full Event – Clients download all images in the event

Important Notes

  • Clients must complete payment before downloads are available
  • Download links are delivered by email with the order receipt
  • Clients access their downloads directly from that link
  • Digital packages must be added to a price list before they appear in a Client Gallery
  • For offline payments (cash, Venmo, etc.), the download link will not be available until the order is manually marked as Paid
