How to See Which Images Clients Download from PhotoBiz Client Galleries

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries lets you review which images clients download when you use the Free Downloads option for image delivery. The ACTIVITY section shows download activity for each contact, including individual image downloads and bulk downloads.

Bulk downloads can include one gallery, multiple galleries, Favorites, or other available image groups the client chooses to download together as a ZIP file. This guide explains how to find and review Free Download activity for a client.

Free Downloads are separate from digital images and digital packages purchased through ECommerce. Purchased digital products are delivered through the customer's order and receipt and are not included in the Free Download activity covered in this guide.

Prerequisites

Your Client Galleries event must allow Free Downloads, and a client must have downloaded at least one image for download activity to appear.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click CLIENT GALLERIES in the left-side menu.

This opens the Client Galleries Dashboard, where you can manage events and review client activity.

STEP TWO

Click ACTIVITY at the top of the Client Galleries Dashboard.

The Activity section displays activity records for your Client Galleries events, including Favorites, Comments, and Downloads.

STEP THREE

Find the activity record you want to review. The ACTIVITY section displays the event, contact, Favorites, Comments, Downloads, Created date, and Last Saved date for each record.

If needed, use the search field to search by client name, email address, or event name.

Click the number in the DOWNLOADS column for the contact and event you want to review.

FINAL STEP

The contact's activity details will open. Use SINGLE DOWNLOADS and BULK DOWNLOADS on the left side of the page to review the different types of download activity.

Click SINGLE DOWNLOADS to review individual images the client downloaded. Click BULK DOWNLOADS to review downloads where multiple images were packaged together in a ZIP file.

You can now review the recorded Free Download activity for that contact and event.

Single Downloads

The SINGLE DOWNLOADS section shows images the client downloaded individually.

You can see the total number of individually downloaded images along with a thumbnail and filename for each image. You can also use the available EXPORT and PRINT options when needed.

Bulk Downloads

The BULK DOWNLOADS section shows downloads created when the client used the bulk download option.

Each bulk download record can show:

Date — When the bulk download was created
Galleries — The gallery or image group selected for the download
Images — The number of images included
Resolution — The resolution used for the download

A Bulk Download does not necessarily include every image in the event. When starting a bulk download, the client can select from the galleries or image groups available to them. Depending on the event, this could include one gallery, multiple galleries, Favorites, or all available images.

PhotoBiz packages the selected images into a ZIP file for the client to download.

How Free Download Activity Is Different from Purchased Digital Images

The download activity described in this guide applies to the Free Downloads feature in Client Galleries.

It does not include digital images or digital packages a customer purchases through PhotoBiz ECommerce. Purchased digital products are associated with the customer's order and are delivered through the download attached to their receipt.

This distinction is important when you are checking whether a client received or downloaded purchased digital products. Those purchases should be reviewed through the appropriate ECommerce order rather than the Client Galleries Free Download activity.

Helpful Notes

Download activity is associated with the contact and email address used with the Client Galleries event.
Single downloads show individual files downloaded separately.
Bulk downloads show images downloaded together as a ZIP file.
A bulk download may contain some or all of the images available for download.
The options available during a bulk download depend on the galleries and image groups available in that event.
If Favorites are available as a download option, a client can choose their Favorites as part of a bulk download.
Deleting an event or contact also deletes the associated Client Galleries activity. If you need the activity for your records, review it before deleting the event or contact.
