Overview
PhotoBiz notifications help you keep track of important activity inside your account. Notifications are created when someone submits a form, places an order, books an appointment, comments on a blog post, starts a conversation, or interacts with other areas of your PhotoBiz website.
This guide explains where to find your notifications, how to filter and manage them, and what to do if you stop receiving email notification alerts. You will also learn the difference between notifications in your PhotoBiz account and email alerts sent to your inbox.
Notifications may be generated from several areas of your PhotoBiz account, including:
When new activity happens, PhotoBiz creates a notification in your account. In many cases, an email alert is also sent to the email address connected to that activity or feature.
PhotoBiz account notifications appear inside your control panel. These allow you to review recent activity while you are logged into your account.
Email notifications are alerts sent to your email inbox. These help you stay informed even when you are not logged into PhotoBiz.
To help improve email delivery, we recommend adding this email address to your contacts or safe sender list:
emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com
This can help prevent PhotoBiz notification emails from being filtered into your spam or junk folder.
You can find notifications from your PhotoBiz control panel home screen or from the notification bell in the top-right corner of your account.
Your home screen displays a quick summary of recent activity. New notifications may appear with a red number so you can quickly see when there is new activity to review. Click the notification area on your home screen to open the notification menu on the right side of your control panel.
The notification bell is available throughout your PhotoBiz control panel. Click the bell from anywhere in your account to open your recent notifications in the side menu.
Click a notification to view more details.
Depending on the notification type, you may be able to review the related submission, order, appointment, comment, conversation, quote, invoice, or client activity. This helps you respond quickly to leads, clients, and website activity from one place in your account.
Use the filter dropdown at the top of the notification menu to narrow your list of notifications.
You can filter notifications by type, including:
Filtering is helpful when you want to quickly find a specific type of activity, such as a recent form submission, appointment, order, or conversation.
After reviewing your notifications, you can manage them from the notification menu.
You can mark notifications as read, mark them as new, or delete notifications you no longer need to see in your notification list.
Deleting a notification only removes it from your notification menu. It does not delete the original form submission, order, appointment, conversation, quote, invoice, blog comment, or Client Galleries activity from your account.

If you are not receiving email notifications from PhotoBiz, first check your spam or junk folder. You should also confirm that emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com has been added to your contacts or safe sender list.
If you still are not receiving email notifications, contact our Passionate Support team.
PhotoBiz uses email validation to help protect our email system and sender reputation. If your email provider rejects a message from PhotoBiz, your email address may be marked as non-deliverable. This can happen if your inbox was full, your email address was misspelled, your email provider blocked the message, or your email account rejected the notification.
Our Support team can check your email status and help get your notifications working again.
Email delivery can also be affected by your email provider’s security settings. Some business, school, government, or corporate email systems use stricter filters that may block automated notification emails.
If you use one of these email systems, you may need to ask your email provider or IT administrator to allow emails from PhotoBiz.
You can still review your account notifications from inside your PhotoBiz control panel, even if an email notification does not arrive in your inbox.
