How to View a Customer’s Client Galleries Saved Cart Through Contacts

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries saves the items a customer adds to their cart before they complete checkout. You can view these selections through the customer’s contact record to see what they added from a specific Client Gallery event.

This guide explains how to locate a customer in Contacts, open their Client Galleries activity, and review their saved cart. STEP ONE

This opens the Contacts area, where you can search for customers and review activity connected to their contact records.

STEP TWO

Find and select the name of the contact whose saved cart you want to view.

The customer’s contact record will open. This record includes their contact details and available activity from different areas of your PhotoBiz account.

STEP THREE

Select the Client Galleries section in the customer’s contact record.

This section displays the Client Gallery events connected to the customer. If the customer has activity in more than one event, each event will appear separately.

STEP FOUR

Click the name of the Client Gallery event containing the saved cart you want to review.

The customer’s activity for that specific event will open.

STEP FIVE

Select Saved Cart from the Client Gallery event activity.

This area will also include Favorites, Comments, Single Downloads, and Bulk Downloads, depending on the customer’s activity within the event.

FINAL STEP

Review the prints, digital images, products, or packages the customer has added to their cart.

You can now see the customer’s selections before they complete checkout. The saved cart does not confirm that an order has been submitted or that a payment has been made.

Saved Carts and Completed Orders

A saved cart is part of Client Galleries. It shows items the customer has selected but has not purchased.

The cart remains under the Client Galleries section of the contact record until the customer completes checkout. After the customer submits the order, the completed order will appear in the Ecommerce section of their contact record.

An Easier Way to View Saved Carts

You can also review saved carts from the Activity section of the Client Galleries Dashboard. This is often the faster option because you can open an event and review customer activity without locating each customer through Contacts first.

The Activity section may include:

Saved carts
Favorites
Comments
Single downloads
Bulk downloads
Event access activity

Saved Cart Not Displayed

If you do not see a saved cart, confirm that you selected the correct contact and Client Gallery event.

Client Galleries activity is connected to the email address the customer uses when accessing the event. If the customer used a different email address, their saved cart may be connected to another contact record.

The customer may also have viewed the event without adding any items to their cart. In that case, other Client Galleries activity may appear, but Saved Cart may not contain any selections.
