How to Send Favorite Images as a Digital Download

Overview

PhotoBiz Client Galleries allow you to send digital files directly to a client based on the images they marked as Favorites. This is helpful for prepaid packages that include a specific number of digital images or when you want to provide complimentary downloads.

You can choose the download resolution, confirm which images are included, and email a secure download link to your client. The link remains active for seven days.

Important Note:

This process sends the selected files as a free download. It does not create an order or charge the client.

STEP ONE

This opens the Client Galleries Dashboard.

STEP TWO

Click ACTIVITY at the top of the Client Galleries Dashboard.

This opens the area where you can manage your Client Galleries events and review client activity.

STEP THREE

Find the client whose Favorites you want to send. Click their activity entry to view the images they selected.

STEP FOUR

Review the client’s selected Favorites and click SEND FILES TO DOWNLOAD.

The download settings will open so you can choose how the files are delivered.

FINAL STEP

Confirm the recipient’s email address, select the download resolution, and review the galleries and images included in the download. The email address used by the client to mark Favorites will be entered automatically. You can add additional email addresses by separating them with commas.

Click SEND FILES to email the secure download link.

Your client will receive an email containing a link they can use to download the selected images.

Download Resolution Options

You can choose from the following file sizes:

Web Size – Low Resolution: Delivers images with a maximum size of 1500 × 865 pixels.
Web Size – High Resolution: Delivers images with a maximum size of 3000 × 1730 pixels.
Original Files: Delivers the full-size uploaded images. This option requires the Original Files upgrade and supports individual files up to 50 MB. Images will only be available in the Original File format if they were uploaded prior to adding the Original Files upgrade.

Selecting Galleries and Images

The client’s Favorites will be selected automatically when you open the download settings. Review the selections before sending to make sure the correct galleries and images are included.

You can adjust the selected galleries or images before clicking SEND FILES.

What Your Client Receives

Your client will receive an email containing a secure download link. The link remains active for seven days.

If the link expires, repeat the steps in this guide to send a new download link.
