How to Remove an Email Address from Your Bounced List in Email Marketing
When you send Email Marketing campaigns through PhotoBiz, you can track delivery performance—including whether any messages bounced. A bounced email means your message was rejected by the recipient’s email server and wasn’t delivered. This can happen for several reasons, such as:
- The email address doesn’t exist
- The mailbox is full
- The domain is suspended or undeliverable
- The email was blocked by the recipient’s provider
This guide will walk you through how to remove an email address from your bounced list so that you can try reaching that contact again in future campaigns.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on MARKETING from the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
At the top of your Marketing control panel, click on TRACKING.
STEP THREE
From the tracking options dropdown menu, select BOUNCED and then click Run Search to generate your bounced email report.
STEP FOUR
Click on the Email Address you'd like to remove from your bounced list.
STEP FIVE
Click the pencil icon next to the “Bounced” label on the contact’s record.
FINAL STEP
Check the box to confirm you'd like to remove the email address from the bounced list, then click Save Changes.
Once saved, the bounce status will be cleared and the contact's email will be eligible to receive future campaigns.
Important Note:
If the email address bounces again in the future, it will automatically be added back to the bounced list, and you’ll need to repeat these steps if you'd like to re-enable it.
