How should I get started with Email Marketing?

PhotoBiz Email Marketing. Simply Stay Connected!

The Email Marketing tool is included with your PhotoBiz account and works hand-in-hand with the Contacts tool as part of our client relationship builder. If you’re not already using this powerful feature, here’s a quick guide to help you get started!


ADD YOUR COMPANY'S BRANDING

Access the Email Marketing Tool:
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on MARKETING in the left-side menu. Then, click on the SETTINGS button in the upper right corner of your Marketing control panel.

Add Your Branding Elements:

The right-side menu will open and you'll see the following options for your email marketing. 

  • BRANDING: By default, this section will use your Global Branding settings. You can choose the CUSTOM option if you want to use a different version of your logo for your email marketing campaigns. 
  • FOOTER: You can include additional information in the footer of your email marketing campaigns. 
  • ANALYTICS: You can add Google Analytics or other traffic analysis tools code here. 
  • SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS: You can add your brand's social media profiles to appear at the bottom of all of your email marketing campaigns. 

Click on SAVE CHANGES to apply your updates in this section. 

CREATE A CAMPAIGN

After setting up your branding, it’s time to build your first campaign!

  • Click on Campaign Builder to get started.
  • Choose a category for your campaign (or customize your categories first if you prefer).
  • Click on New, then pick a template from the available options.
  • Click Select on the template you want to use.

From there, just customize the sample content to match your message. You can:

  • Edit the design with the paintbrush icon
  • Rename or add an additional footer using the gear icon
  • Rearrange the layout with simple drag-and-drop functionality

SEND & SHARE

Once your campaign looks great, you're ready to send it out or share it!

To send by email:

  1. Click the Send button

  2. Choose the group of contacts you want to send it to

  3. Add your subject line, check the confirmation box, and click the green Send button

To share on social media or as a landing page:

  • Click the Share button and choose where you want to post it

TRACK YOUR CAMPAIGN

After your campaign is sent, you can easily track its performance.

  • Hover over Tracking, then click Email Campaigns to see how each campaign is doing — including opens, clicks, and more.
