PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder allows you to create easy-to-use forms for visitors to your website to complete and submit information to you. Occasionally, your clients may report an error in completing and submitting their forms. PhotoBiz Forms error code will exclusively start with EC and appear similar to the graphic below:
FORM ERRORS GUIDE
Error #1: Google reCAPTCHA issue
Fix: There are variations of this error, that are all directly related to your Google reCAPTCHA settings and your form. If you have a client reporting this error, you can log into your PhotoBiz account and also your Google reCAPTCHA settings and be sure that the Check Your Google reCAPTCHA settings to make sure that your site key and secret key are correct in your settings.
Error #2: Unexpected Error Form deleted
Fix: The form needs to be recreated or the link to the form be removed or updated to match the correct form’s URL.
Error #3: Blacklisted IP detected
Fix: Clear the Blacklisted IPs field in your Spam Policy or remove the specific IP addresses causing the error. A fail-safe option is to remove all entries. Once you've updated, have your client refresh and submit the form again.
Error #4: Restricted Word detected
Fix: Take a look at the Restricted Words field in your Spam Policy remove the restricted word that you believe caused the error. All submissions using any of the words listed will receive an error and be unable to submit. A failsafe option is to remove all entries. Save your changes, refresh the form, and try again.
Error #5: Blacklisted Domain/Email detected
Fix: Take a look at the Blacklisted Domains and Email Addresses field in your Spam Policy. If you see “@gmail.com” in the field, remove it as this is likely causing the error. Otherwise, try to identify the domain or address that is causing the error and remove it. A failsafe option is to remove all entries. Save your changes, refresh the form, and try again.
Error #6: Check Submission Count
Fix: You can purchase additional form submissions from your Premium Upgrades or wait until the 1st of the month for your submission count to reset.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on MY ACCOUNT on the left-side menu. The key to fixing form error codes is to get familiar with your Spam Protection settings.
STEP TWO
Mouse over SETTINGS at the top of your My Account control panel and click on SPAM PROTECTION in the drop down menu that opens.
GOOGLE RECAPTCHA
The first section is information to enable Google reCAPTCHA. You can check our SITE KEY and SECRET KEY for your domain by logging into your Google reCAPTCHA account at the link below:

SPAM POLICY
The Spam Policy section includes the following options:
- BLACKLISTED DOMAINS AND EMAIL ADDRESSES
- BLACKLISTED IPS
- RESTRICTED WORDS
In this section, you can add or remove restricted emails, IP addresses or words that you don’t want to allow to be submitted. However, use caution with restricting emails and words so you don’t cause an error code for a client you may want to be able to reach you.
