Overview
Your PhotoBiz website includes built-in Google reCAPTCHA to help reduce spam submissions on your forms. reCAPTCHA helps protect your forms by checking whether submissions are coming from real visitors instead of automated bots.
This guide walks you through how to turn Google reCAPTCHA on or off for your PhotoBiz forms. We recommend keeping reCAPTCHA enabled to help prevent unwanted spam submissions.
Before you can turn on Google reCAPTCHA spam protection, you must have Google reCAPTCHA keys added to your PhotoBiz account.
If you have not created your keys yet, see: How to Get Google reCAPTCHA Keys.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click MY ACCOUNT in the left-side menu. This opens your account settings area, where you can manage account-wide options for your PhotoBiz account.
At the top center of the My Account page, hover over SETTINGS. From the dropdown menu, click SPAM PROTECTION.
This opens the spam protection settings for your account.
Under TURN ON GOOGLE RECAPTCHA, choose the setting you want to use.
Select Yes to enable Google reCAPTCHA and help protect your forms from spam submissions. Select No to disable Google reCAPTCHA for your forms.
After selecting your preferred option, scroll down and click Save Changes. Your reCAPTCHA setting will be updated for your PhotoBiz forms.
We recommend keeping Google reCAPTCHA turned on unless you have a specific reason to disable it.
If you turn reCAPTCHA off, your forms may be more likely to receive spam submissions. If you notice an increase in unwanted form submissions, return to your Spam Protection settings and turn Google reCAPTCHA back on.
Why should I use Google reCAPTCHA on my forms?
Google reCAPTCHA helps reduce automated spam submissions. This can help keep your form submissions cleaner and make it easier to identify real inquiries from potential clients.
Will turning reCAPTCHA off delete my forms?
No. Turning Google reCAPTCHA on or off only changes the spam protection setting. It does not delete or change your forms.
