PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to attach one downloadable file per product. If you need to deliver multiple files, such as PDFs, documents, images, or other resources, you can combine them into a single ZIP file.
This guide walks you through how to create a ZIP file, upload it to your PhotoBiz account, and attach it to your product. By the end, your customers will receive one download link that includes all of their purchased files in one place.
If you have not created a digital product yet, see: How to Sell Digital Product Downloads in PhotoBiz ECommerce.
Before you begin, make sure:
You have all files ready that you want to deliver
You have access to your PhotoBiz account
Your digital product is already created
Your files meet upload size requirements
Organize your files into a folder
Start by gathering all the files you want your customer to receive. You can include multiple file types such as PDF documents, image files, audio files, design files, templates, or instruction documents.
Place all of these items into one folder on your computer. This folder will be used to create your ZIP file.
Create your ZIP file
Once your folder is ready, compress it into a ZIP file.
On Mac:
Right-click your folder and select Compress “[Folder Name]”
On Windows:
Right-click your folder, select Send To, then click Compressed (zipped) folder
This creates one ZIP file that contains all of your files.
Upload your ZIP file to PhotoBiz
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click FILES from the left-hand menu.
Click DOCUMENTS at the top of the page.
Click UPLOAD, then select your ZIP file.
Once uploaded, your file will be available to use in your product settings.
Attach the ZIP file to your product
Click ECOMMERCE from the left-hand menu.
Hover over SELL ONLINE and select PRODUCTS.
Click on the product you want to edit.
Click the DIGITAL DOWNLOAD tab.
In the LINK TO section, select File and choose your uploaded ZIP file.
Set your download options:
Number of Days Download is Available controls how long the download link stays active after purchase.
Maximum Downloads Per Order controls how many times the customer can download the file.
Click SAVE CHANGES.
Confirm the customer download experience
After saving, your product is ready.
When a customer completes a purchase and the order is marked Paid, they will receive a receipt email with a download link.
To make the download link easier for customers to find in their receipt email, update the download label to something clear, such as:
Download Your Files
Access Your Purchase
Your customer will download one ZIP file that contains all included files.
Why use a ZIP file
ZIP files are recommended when delivering multiple files because:
Each product supports only one downloadable file
Multiple items can be grouped into one download
All files are delivered together in one place
Customers only need to click one link
It helps prevent missing or overlooked files
Best practice for organizing files
Keep your files clearly named and organized inside the ZIP folder so customers can easily find what they need after downloading.
You can also include a simple instruction document if your files require explanation.
File size limits
Standard document uploads support files up to 4 MB each.
If you need to upload a larger ZIP file, the Original Files premium upgrade increases the upload limit to 50 MB per file.
If your ZIP file exceeds the allowed size, reduce file sizes before uploading.
The download link is not showing in the receipt
The download link will only appear after the order is marked Paid.
The customer did not receive the download
Check that:
The order is marked Paid
The correct file is attached to the product
The email was not filtered into spam or junk
You can resend the receipt from the order details page.
The download link expired
Download links expire based on your settings.
You can resend the download from the order screen or adjust your settings for future orders.
Can I send multiple separate downloads in one product
No. Each product supports one download link.
To deliver multiple files, you must combine them into a ZIP file.
