How To Change Your Logo On Your Website

How to Upload a Custom Website Logo in PhotoBiz

Overview

PhotoBiz Branding lets you use one logo across supported areas of your account. If you want your website to use a different logo, you can change your Website branding preference to Custom and upload a website-specific logo.

A custom website logo overrides the logo from your global Branding settings for your Website only. It does not change the logo used in other areas of your PhotoBiz account.

This guide explains how to switch your Website to Custom branding, upload a website-specific logo, add an optional Compact Logo for mobile visitors, and add a custom favicon.

Important: Your Branding Preference Determines Which Logo Displays

Your Website can use either your global Branding logo or a Custom website logo. The option selected under SELECT YOUR BRANDING PREFERENCE determines which logo appears on your website.

  • If your Website uses your global Branding settings, PhotoBiz displays the logo saved in your main Branding area.
  • If your Website is set to Custom, PhotoBiz displays the logo uploaded specifically in your Website Design Settings.

Uploading a logo in one location does not automatically change your Website branding preference.

For example, if you upload a new logo to your main Branding settings while your Website is set to Custom, your Website will continue using its custom logo. If you upload a custom website logo but do not change your branding preference to Custom and save your changes, your global Branding logo may continue to display.

If you want to use one logo throughout your PhotoBiz account instead, see How To Set Up Global Branding.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

This opens your Website Dashboard, where you can manage your website content, design, and settings.

STEP TWO

Click DESIGN at the top of the Website Dashboard.

This opens the design controls for your PhotoBiz website.

STEP THREE

Click DESIGN SETTINGS in the upper-right area of the Design section.

Your Design Settings include branding preferences and logo options for your website.

STEP FOUR

The right side menu will open and the Logo section is the default section. Under SELECT YOUR BRANDING PREFERENCE, select Custom from the dropdown menu.

Choosing Custom tells PhotoBiz to use website-specific branding instead of the logo saved in your global Branding settings.

FINAL STEP

In the LOGO section, click Add Files and choose the logo file from your computer. Click Upload to add the file to your website, then scroll down and click SAVE CHANGES.

Your logo can be uploaded as a PNG or JPG file. PNG is generally recommended when your logo uses a transparent background.

After you save your changes, your Website will use the custom logo you uploaded instead of your global Branding logo. Your global logo will remain unchanged for the other supported areas of your PhotoBiz account.

Adding a Custom Favicon

You can also add a custom favicon to your website.

A favicon is the small image that can appear in a browser tab next to your website's page title. Favicons use the ICO file format.

For help creating a favicon, see How To Create A Favicon.

Using a Compact Logo for Mobile

You can also upload a Compact Logo for visitors who open your PhotoBiz website on a phone.

A Compact Logo is a separate version of your website logo designed specifically for mobile display. This can be helpful if your primary logo is wide, detailed, or difficult to read on a smaller screen.

Upload your Compact Logo in the Compact Logo area of your Website logo settings. When someone visits your PhotoBiz website on their phone, PhotoBiz will use the Compact Logo.

If you previously used our separate mobile-logo guide, this setting is now covered as part of your website-specific branding options.

Troubleshooting & FAQs

Why Is the Wrong Logo Showing?

If your website displays a different logo than you expected, first check SELECT YOUR BRANDING PREFERENCE in your Website Design Settings.

  • If your Website is using your global Branding settings, it will display the logo saved in your main Branding area.
  • If Custom is selected, it will display the logo uploaded specifically in your Website Design Settings.
  • If you recently changed your branding preference or uploaded a new custom logo, confirm that you clicked SAVE CHANGES.

A common cause of logo confusion is uploading a logo in one location while the Website is configured to use the other. Always check the branding preference first to confirm which logo source your Website is using.

If you want to change the logo used throughout your PhotoBiz account instead of using a website-specific logo, see How To Set Up Global Branding.

Helpful Logo Tips

Keep these recommendations in mind when preparing your website logo:

  • Use a PNG file if your logo requires a transparent background.
  • Use a JPG file if transparency is not needed.
  • Make sure your logo is easy to read against your website background.
  • Consider a simplified Compact Logo if your main logo contains small text or detailed artwork.
  • Review your website on both a computer and a phone after updating your logo.
