How Can I Make Sure My Notifications Don't Go To Spam?

How to Ensure You Receive PhotoBiz Notification Emails

At PhotoBiz, we send important notifications based on the products you're using, such as:

  • 2 Factor Authentication Code (if email is your selected method)
  • Billing/Membership Emails
  • Form Submissions
  • Order Notifications
  • Appointments
  • Client Gallery Comments/Favorites
  • Blog Comments
  • Conversations

Sometimes, your email provider may mistakenly mark these notifications as spam. This guide will walk you through how to make sure these important messages make it to your inbox and what to do if they’re not showing up.

Where to Find Notifications in Your PhotoBiz Account

Even if you miss an email notification, you can always find it in your PhotoBiz control panel! All your notifications are stored on the home page of your account. You can easily review notifications from site activities like forms, eCommerce, client galleries, scheduler, conversations, and blog comments.

How to Ensure You Receive Your Notifications

STEP ONE

Safelist the PhotoBiz Notification Email Server

To ensure you never miss a notification, you should add our email server addresses to your contacts or safe sender list. This will help prevent our messages from being marked as spam.

For PhotoBiz Mailbox Users:

  1. Go to mailbox.photobiz.com and log into your email settings.

  2. Click on the three lines in the top-right corner to access the settings.

  3. Navigate to Spam Settings and then the Safelist tab.

  4. Add the following email addresses to your safelist:

    • emailsupport@photobiz.com

    • emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com

  5. Click Add, and these addresses will now be recognized as safe by your email server.

For 3rd-Party Email Providers (e.g., Gmail, Yahoo, etc.):

  1. Log into your webmail account.

  2. Add these email addresses to your contacts or address book:

    • emailsupport@photobiz.com

    • emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com

By adding us to your contacts, you’re telling your email provider that these emails should always be delivered to your inbox.

STEP TWO

Add PhotoBiz to Your Safe Sender List

If your email provider supports a safe sender list, you can also add photobiz.com to ensure our emails are never marked as spam. This is a simple way to prevent missing important notifications.

STEP THREE

Set Up Filters (Optional)

You can also create filters in your email to automatically sort PhotoBiz notifications into your inbox. We’ve included links to some of the most commonly used email providers, where you can learn how to create these filters:

  • How to create an email filter with Google Workspace or Gmail
  • How to create an email filter with GoDaddy Office 365
  • How to create an email filter with Yahoo email

Please note: PhotoBiz is not affiliated with these email providers. For help with creating filters, please reach out to your email provider’s support team.

Important Info About Email Deliverability

We work hard to keep our email notifications reliable. To protect the health of our email servers and maintain a good reputation, we use strict email validation practices.

If your email address rejects a notification (e.g., your inbox is full, or you marked an email as spam), your address may be marked as non-deliverable. This means our server won’t send emails to your address until the issue is resolved.

If You're Not Receiving Notifications:

If you've stopped receiving notifications, 📞 contact us via phone or live chat! We'll check if your email address was marked as non-deliverable and help you restore your notifications.

💡 Pro Tip

All notifications are also stored in your PhotoBiz CRM. You can view them on the home screen of your PhotoBiz account if you miss any email notifications.
