Creating and maintaining a blog is a great way to connect with your clients, attract new visitors, and support your website’s SEO. Regular blog posts help keep your website fresh and give you content to share on social media. This article explains how to create, design, and publish a blog post using the PhotoBiz Blog editor.
Important Note:
Your blog post title automatically generates the direct URL for the post when it is published. Changing the title later will also change the URL.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BLOG in the left-side menu.
Click on the NEW POST button.
The right-side menu will open. Enter your POST TITLE and AUTHOR, then click CREATE POST to open the blog post editor.
To organize your blog posts, click ADD A TAG in the upper-left area of the blog post editor.
Tags help group blog posts by session type, promotions, styles, or topics. Tags can also be used to display specific blog posts in Blog Blocks across your website.
Type your tag name, click ADD TAG, then click SAVE CHANGES to apply the tag.
If you want more information, see How to Use Blog Post Tags in PhotoBiz.
Type in your blog tag and click on ADD TAG to put your tag in place. Then, click on SAVE CHANGES to add the tag to your blog post.
Begin adding your blog content. Each new blog post includes sections for text and images.
Click Click To Add Text to enter written content.
Click Click To Add Images to upload photos.
While working in the text editor, you can use Ask PhotoBiz AI, which is built directly into the editor, to help write your blog content.
You can add the following blocks to your blog post:
TITLE – Add headers or subheaders
TEXT – Add or edit written content
BUTTON – Add a call-to-action button such as “Read More” or “Book Now”
IMAGES – Upload a single image or an image gallery
VIDEO – Embed video content
DIVIDER – Visually separate sections of your post
You can use the Duo Build layout option to place blocks side by side within a single row. Duo Build is available when using the Text, Button, Images, and Video blocks. This allows you to display layouts such as text next to images or video within your blog post.
Use Ask PhotoBiz AI to generate or enhance your blog post content.
Inside a Text block, type a brief description of what you want your blog post to cover, then click Ask PhotoBiz AI. PhotoBiz AI uses your Business Profile and the context of your blog post to generate professional, on-brand content directly in the text editor.
If the Text block already contains content, PhotoBiz AI will reference that existing text to create relevant updates, expansions, or refinements.
Click Generate Text, then review and edit the content directly in the editor. All AI-generated content is fully editable, allowing you to adjust wording, tone, and details to match your brand. If needed, you can submit another prompt to generate new content.
If your AI-generated content does not match your brand or services, review your Business Profile. See How to Set Up Your PhotoBiz Business Profile.
You can also enter a more detailed manual prompt for more specific results by clicking on the link in the description below the ask photobiz ai button. Examples include:
What to wear for a family portrait session
A blog post about a wedding shoot at the beach
How to prepare for senior photography sessions
Tips on getting the best professional headshot
Once the AI generates the text, you can review it, make edits, and click Save Changes to finalize it. If you're not satisfied, you can submit another prompt to generate new content.
When your blog post is ready to go live, click PUBLISH in the top-right corner of the blog editor.
Before publishing, you can choose from the following options:
DRAFT – Saves the post for later editing and does not display it on your live website
SCHEDULE PUBLISHING – Sets a past or future publish date
PUBLISH NOW – Publishes the post immediately
You can preview your blog post at any time by clicking the preview link at the top of the editor.
You can edit blog posts at any time, even after publishing. Updates to published blog posts will appear on your website once saved. Changing the post title will also change the blog post URL.
Blog posts support both full-width and side-by-side layouts using Duo Build with Text, Button, Images, and Video blocks.
For best performance, use web-optimized images and avoid uploading extremely large image files.
Regular blogging helps improve SEO by adding fresh, keyword-rich content to your website.
