Overview
Your PhotoBiz Scheduler, included with your Website Package, uses your Hours of Operation to determine your normal weekly booking availability. Setting these hours helps make sure clients can only schedule appointments during the days and times you regularly accept bookings.
This guide walks you through setting your Hours of Operation, saving your changes, and understanding when other Scheduler availability settings may override your normal hours.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click SCHEDULER in the left-side menu.
This opens the Scheduler Dashboard, where you can manage your services, appointments, availability, and other Scheduler settings.
Click AVAILABILITY at the top of your Scheduler control panel.
This opens your availability settings, including your regular Hours of Operation.
Set the days and times you normally accept Scheduler appointments.
Use the Hours of Operation settings to define your regular weekly availability for each day. Adjust the available start and end times for the days you accept appointments, and make days unavailable when you do not normally take bookings.
These settings create the standard weekly schedule that Scheduler uses when showing appointment availability to your clients.
Review your Hours of Operation, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
Your updated hours are automatically applied to your Scheduler. Clients will see available appointment times based on your Hours of Operation, your Scheduler services, and any other availability settings that apply.
Your Scheduler uses the time zone configured in your PhotoBiz account. Before allowing clients to begin booking, make sure your account is using the correct time zone so appointment times display as expected.

Your Hours of Operation should represent the schedule you normally follow each week.
If you need to temporarily block a specific date or time for a vacation, holiday, appointment, personal time, or another scheduling exception, use Time Off instead of changing your regular Hours of Operation.
Using Time Off allows you to keep your normal weekly schedule in place while preventing clients from booking during a temporary period when you are unavailable.

Some Scheduler services can use availability outside your regular Hours of Operation.
This means a client may occasionally see an available appointment outside your standard Hours of Operation when the service is configured as a Mini Session or uses a limited schedule.
Keep your Hours of Operation focused on the schedule you follow most weeks. Use the other Scheduler availability tools when you need exceptions or specialized booking times.
Review these settings whenever your business schedule changes so clients continue to see accurate booking availability.
Should I change my Hours of Operation when I go on vacation?
No. Keep your normal Hours of Operation in place and use Time Off to block the dates or times when you will not be available.
Can clients book outside my Hours of Operation?
Normally, Scheduler uses your Hours of Operation to determine your standard availability. However, Mini Sessions and services configured with a limited schedule can override your normal Hours of Operation and offer booking times outside those hours.
Do I need to update my Hours of Operation for a one-day schedule change?
No. Use Time Off when you need to remove availability for a temporary schedule change. If you are adding special availability for a Mini Session or limited recurring service, configure that availability within the applicable service instead.
What should I check if appointment times appear incorrect?
First, confirm that your PhotoBiz account is using the correct time zone. You should also review your Hours of Operation and check whether the service uses a Mini Session or limited schedule that changes its availability.
