How to Customize Fonts in a Banner Block in PhotoBiz

Overview

Banner Blocks can display a title, subtitle, and button text over your banner images. By default, this text follows the global font settings used throughout your PhotoBiz website.

You can override those settings for an individual Banner Block when you want it to use a different font style. This guide explains how to change the font family, font size, letter spacing, and line height for the text in a Banner Block.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

This opens the Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages and content blocks.

STEP TWO

Click the page that contains the Banner Block you want to customize.

Click the text displayed in the Banner Block to open its settings. You can also click the pencil icon in the upper-right corner of the Banner Block and select Advanced.

The Banner Block settings will open in the right-side panel.

STEP THREE

Click Fonts in the Banner Block settings.

The Fonts section allows you to customize the text used in this specific Banner Block. You can adjust the Title, Subtitle, and Button Text separately.

Each text element includes settings for the font family, font size, letter spacing, and line height. Adjust the available settings until the banner text matches the design you want.

FINAL STEP

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the right-side panel.

Your updated font settings will be applied to the Banner Block automatically. Review the banner on the page to confirm that the title, subtitle, and button text are easy to read and display as expected.

Banner Font Settings

You can customize the following text elements when they are included in your Banner Block:

  • Title: Controls the main heading displayed on the banner.
  • Subtitle: Controls the supporting text displayed with the title.
  • Button Text: Controls the text inside the banner’s call-to-action button.

The available font controls include:

  • Font Family: Selects the typeface used for the text.
  • Font Size: Controls how large or small the text appears.
  • Letter Spacing: Adjusts the amount of space between individual letters.
  • Line Height: Adjusts the vertical spacing between lines of text.

Helpful Notes

Changes made in the Fonts section apply only to the Banner Block you are editing. Your website’s global font settings remain unchanged for other pages and blocks.

A font setting only affects text that is currently displayed in the Banner Block. For example, changing the Button Text font will not create a button if the banner does not already include one.

Review your banner on both desktop and mobile devices after changing the font size or letter spacing. Large text may wrap differently on smaller screens.

For the best readability, choose font styles that remain clear when displayed over your banner images. You may also need to adjust the Banner Block colors or background settings when the text does not have enough contrast against an image.

Banner Font Design Tips

  • Use a larger font size for the title so visitors can quickly identify the main message.
  • Keep subtitles smaller than titles to create a clear visual hierarchy.
  • Avoid using too many different font families in the same Banner Block.
  • Use letter spacing carefully, especially with script or decorative fonts.
  • Check that button text remains readable and fits comfortably inside the button.
  • Use fonts that complement the rest of your website while still allowing the banner to stand out.

EXAMPLES

Below are some sample banner designs using different font combinations for inspiration. Try mixing bold titles with subtle subtitles, or modern fonts with classic button text for a unique look.
