Website Search and Shopping Cart Options for Your PhotoBiz Website

Overview

PhotoBiz lets you add both Website Search and a Shopping Cart to your website through the SITE LINKS / ICONS settings in the Website Builder.

Website Search helps visitors find supported content across your site, including Blog Posts, ECommerce Products, ECommerce Services, and Scheduler Services. The Shopping Cart gives customers a quick way to return to items or services they have added to their cart and continue through checkout.

Because each feature has its own display and customization options, PhotoBiz provides a separate guide for setting up Website Search and the Shopping Cart. Use the links below to choose the feature you want to add.

Add Website Search

Website Search gives visitors a faster way to find supported content on your PhotoBiz website.

You can display Search with your Social Media Icons or Site Links. When you display it with your Site Links, you can also choose how Search appears and customize its styling.

Add the Shopping Cart Icon

The Shopping Cart gives customers a quick way to return to purchases they have added through your PhotoBiz website.

Customers can add items or services to their cart through:

Products Block
Services Block
Scheduler Block

You can display the Shopping Cart with your Social Media Icons or Site Links. When it appears with your Site Links, you can choose from multiple display styles and customize options such as text, icon colors, button colors, and borders.

Using Website Search and the Shopping Cart Together

You can use Website Search and the Shopping Cart on the same PhotoBiz website.

Both features are managed from SITE LINKS / ICONS → SEARCH/CART in the Website Builder, but their settings are configured separately. This allows you to choose the location and display style that works best for each feature.

For example, you may choose to display both with your Site Links, place one with your Site Links and the other with your Social Media Icons, or enable only the feature your website needs.

Important Note About Client Galleries

The Shopping Cart available through the Website Builder is separate from the shopping cart used in Client Galleries.

Products or images that customers add while shopping inside a Client Galleries event remain in that gallery's cart and do not appear in the Shopping Cart on your main PhotoBiz website.

Helpful Notes

Website Search and the Shopping Cart are configured separately, even though both are located under the SEARCH/CART tab.
The exact placement of these features can vary depending on your website design and the display location you choose.
Clicking Save Changes automatically applies your updates to your website. There is no separate publish button.
