Overview
You can add your PhotoBiz Mailbox to an Android phone or tablet using IMAP. IMAP keeps your email, folders, and read status synchronized across your mobile device, other email apps, and webmail.
This guide explains how to enter the incoming and outgoing server settings, enable authentication, and complete the setup. Android menu names may vary depending on your device manufacturer, Android version, and email app.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
You can confirm that your email address and password are correct by signing in to PhotoBiz Mailbox webmail:
Open the email account settings on your Android phone or tablet.
Depending on your device, open the Settings app and select Accounts, Passwords & accounts, or Manage accounts. Tap Add account, and then choose Email, Personal (IMAP), or the email app you want to use.
You may also be able to begin directly inside the Gmail or Samsung Email app by selecting the option to add another account.
Enter your complete PhotoBiz Mailbox email address and mailbox password.
If your device asks you to choose an account type, select IMAP or Personal (IMAP). If the app attempts to configure the account automatically, select Manual setup so you can enter the required server settings.
Your username must be your complete email address, including the portion after the @ symbol.
Enter your incoming mail server settings.
Use your complete PhotoBiz Mailbox email address for both the Email Address and Username fields. Enter your mailbox password in the Password field.
Enter secure.emailsrvr.com as the IMAP Server. Select SSL/TLS or SSL as the security type, and enter 993 as the port number.
If your device does not offer an option labeled only SSL, select SSL/TLS. Manually enter each setting even if your device automatically fills in a field or marks it as optional.
Tap Next to verify the incoming server settings.
Enter the following outgoing mail server settings:
SMTP authentication must be enabled for your device to send email.
Tap Next to verify the outgoing server settings.
Choose your preferred account options.
Depending on your email app, you may be able to control:
Select the settings you prefer, and then tap Next or Continue.
Enter a name for the account and the sender name you want recipients to see.
The Account Name is only used to identify the mailbox on your device. For example, you could enter Work Email or PhotoBiz Mailbox.
The Your Name or Display Name field controls the name shown in the From field when you send an email.
Tap Done, Finish Setup, or Next to complete the process. Open your email app and allow several minutes for your messages and folders to begin synchronizing.
Use these settings whenever an Android email app asks you to configure your PhotoBiz Mailbox manually.
An Authentication Failed, Unable to Sign In, or similar error usually means the email address, username, or password was not accepted.
Review the following settings:
secure.emailsrvr.com.993.465.You can also sign in to webmail using the same email address and password:
If you cannot sign in to webmail, your mailbox password may need to be reset. Contact the administrator of your PhotoBiz account or the PhotoBiz Support Team for assistance.
Messages Are Not Appearing Yet
Your email app may need several minutes to download your folders and messages after the account is added.
Confirm that email synchronization is enabled in the account settings. You can also close and reopen the email app or refresh the inbox manually.
