Can I transfer my domain to Photobiz?

How to Transfer Your Domain to PhotoBiz

If you want to manage your website and domain registration all in one place, you can transfer your existing domain from a third-party registrar to your PhotoBiz account.

We currently support these domain types:
.COM, .NET, .INFO, .BIZ, and .ORG

WHAT YOU’LL NEED BEFORE YOU START

To begin the transfer, you’ll need to complete a few steps with your current domain registrar:

  1. Unlock Your Domain
    Make sure your domain is unlocked at your current registrar.

  2. Turn Off Privacy Settings
    Disable any domain privacy protections, including DNSSEC.

  3. Get Your Authorization Code (EPP Code)
    This code is required to start the transfer.

COST TO TRANSFER

  • One-time Transfer Fee: $25.00 and

  • Domain Renewal: $3.50/month (billed monthly) or $42/year (billed annually)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

  • No Recent Changes: If you’ve updated the registrant name, company, or email—or recently transferred the domain from another registrar—you’ll need to wait 60 days before you can transfer again.

  • DNSSEC Must Be Disabled: Check your domain settings to make sure DNSSEC is turned off.

  • Timing Matters: Avoid transferring a domain that’s set to expire within the next 15 days.

  • Don’t Change Settings During the Transfer: Any updates to your domain’s contact details or configuration after starting the transfer can delay or block the process.

Once initiated, a domain transfer can take 7–10 business days to complete.
