How to Download All Website Images Using the Image Clipboard in PhotoBiz

Overview

If you need to download multiple images from your PhotoBiz website, the fastest method is to use the Image Clipboard along with Client Galleries. Instead of saving images one at a time, you can gather them into the Clipboard, insert them into a gallery, and download them all at once as a ZIP file.

In this guide, you will learn how to copy images from your Website Builder into the Image Clipboard, add them to a Client Galleries event, and download them in a single file. By the end, you will have a backup of your website images without manually downloading each one.

Important Before You Begin

  • This process only works for images currently visible on your website pages.
  • Images that have been deleted cannot be recovered using this method.
  • This process creates copies of your images and does not affect your live website.
  • If you are planning to cancel your account, complete this process before canceling to ensure you retain access to your images.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the page that contains the images you want to move to the Image Clipboard.

You can move images from any block that supports images, including:

• Images Block
• Banner Block
• List Block
• Text plus Image Block
• Form Block
• Video Block

Open the page so you can access the block settings.

STEP THREE

Click on the block that contains the image or images you want to copy.

The block settings will open on the right side of your screen. You will see thumbnail previews of the images currently used in that block.

STEP FOUR

Click and hold your mouse inside the image panel.

Drag the teal selection box over one or more images you want to move to the Image Clipboard. The selected images will be outlined in green.

STEP FIVE

Click and hold your mouse on the selected images.

Drag the images to the CLIPBOARD button and release your mouse to drop them into the Image Clipboard.

STEP SIX

Repeat this process for any additional pages on your website that contain images you want to download.

STEP SEVEN

Click CLIENT GALLERIES in the left-side menu.

This opens your Client Galleries control panel where you will create a temporary gallery for downloading your images.

STEP EIGHT

Click the NEW EVENT button to create a new gallery.

Enter a name such as Website Image Download so you can easily identify it later. Scroll to the bottom and click CREATE EVENT. The new event will open automatically.

STEP NINE

Inside your new event, click the CLIPBOARD button.

This will open your Image Clipboard so you can access the images you previously copied from your website.

STEP TEN

Select the images you want to download.

You can choose individual images or click Select All to include everything in the current view. If your Clipboard is organized into folders, navigate to the correct folder before making your selection.

If your Clipboard contains multiple pages of images, select all images on the current page, click INSERT, then repeat the process for each additional page.

STEP ELEVEN

Click the DOWNLOAD GALLERY button in the top-right corner of the event.

STEP TWELVE

Enter the email address where you want to receive the download link. Then select your preferred file resolution and click SEND FILES.

FINAL STEP

Check your email for the download link.

Open the email and click the link to download your ZIP file. The download link is valid for 7 days from when it is sent. Once downloaded, extract the ZIP file on your computer to access your images.

Additional Backup Recommendations

If you are preparing to cancel your account or recover from data loss, make sure to also download images from other areas of your account:

  • Client Galleries events using the DOWNLOAD GALLERY option
  • Files stored in your FILES section
  • Blog posts or other content areas where images are used

This ensures you have a complete backup of your account content.

Additional Options or Helpful Notes

  • Moving images to the Image Clipboard creates copies. Your original images remain on your website.
  • This process only collects images from your Website Builder pages. Images stored in other areas must be downloaded separately.
  • The Image Clipboard prevents duplicate uploads. If an image already exists, it will not be added again.
  • You can organize Clipboard images into folders to keep large image sets easy to manage.
  • Download resolution options include:

    Web Resolution
    High Resolution
Original Files (only available if the Original Files upgrade was active when the images were uploaded)

  • Website Package allows files up to 4MB. Larger files require the Original Files upgrade (up to 50MB).
  • The resolution available for download depends on how the images were originally uploaded.
  • Large image sets may take several minutes to process before the download email is sent.
  • If you do not see the email, check your spam or junk folder.
  • You can delete the temporary Client Galleries event after downloading if you no longer need it.

Troubleshooting or FAQs

Why don’t I see the Original Files option?
The Original Files option is only available for images uploaded after the Original Files upgrade was enabled.

Can I download all images at once?
Yes. Use Select All when inserting images into your gallery to include everything in a single ZIP file.

Will this remove images from my website?
No. This process only creates copies in the Clipboard. Your original images remain unchanged.
