Overview
The filter tool in PhotoBiz Contacts helps you quickly find a specific group of people without searching through your entire contact list. You can filter contacts by their assigned contact type or by tags created in your account.
This guide explains how PhotoBiz contact types and tags work and how to use them to narrow the contacts displayed on your Contacts page.
PhotoBiz organizes contacts into three primary contact types:
Contact types allow you to quickly separate potential clients, existing customers, and business vendors.
Tags give you more flexibility than contact types because you can create custom labels based on your business and workflow.

Tags can be added to contacts in several ways:
The tags available in the filter tool depend on the tags currently used in your PhotoBiz account.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click CONTACTS in the left-side menu.
The Contacts page displays the contacts saved to your account.
Click the filter drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Contacts page.
The filter menu displays the contact types and tags available in your account.
Select the contact type or tag you want to view.
Your contact list will update to display only the contacts that match the selected filter. Open the filter menu again whenever you need to view a different group of contacts or return to your complete contact list.
Using a filter only changes which contacts are displayed on the Contacts page. It does not edit, move, or delete any contacts.
Contact types and tags serve different purposes:
A contact can have a contact type and one or more tags, allowing you to organize your contact list in multiple ways.
