Overview
Every PhotoBiz Website Package includes the Contacts feature, which helps you organize and manage your client list. Tags allow you to group contacts into categories, such as Holiday Clients, Newsletter Subscribers, or School Portrait Leads.
If you no longer need a contact tag, you can delete it from your account. This guide explains how to delete one or more contact tags from your PhotoBiz Contacts control panel.
Deleting a tag is permanent. While you can create a new tag later with the same name, any contacts that were previously assigned to the deleted tag will no longer be associated with it.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click CONTACTS in the left-side menu.
This will open your Contacts control panel, where you can view and manage your client contacts.
At the top of your Contacts control panel, click TAGS.
This will open your list of saved contact tags.
Check the box next to the tag or tags you want to delete.
You can select one tag or multiple tags, depending on what you want to remove from your account.
Click the DELETE button.
A confirmation message will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the selected contact tag or tags. To complete the deletion, click Yes, Delete It.
Once deleted, the tag will be removed from your account. Any contacts that were previously assigned to that tag will no longer have that tag associated with their contact record.
Before deleting a tag, you may want to review which contacts are currently using it. This can help you confirm that the tag is no longer needed before removing it from your account.
If you delete a tag by mistake, you can create a new tag with the same name later. However, the new tag will not automatically reconnect to contacts that were assigned to the original tag.
