Overview
Your PhotoBiz forms can help you collect contact information for family members, friends, referrals, or related contacts in one submission. By adding a Family + Friends field to a form, clients can enter multiple related contacts when they submit the form.
After the form is submitted, those entries are linked to the client’s contact profile in your PhotoBiz database. This is helpful for referral forms, studio intake forms, family session forms, school forms, and any workflow where you need to collect more than one related contact.
This guide walks you through how to add a Family + Friends field to a form using the Form & Contract Builder.
As an example, here's a link to a sample Studio Referral form built with the Form & Contract builder.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FORM & CONTRACT BUILDER in the left-side menu.
This opens the Form & Contract Builder, where you can create new forms, edit existing forms, and manage the information your clients submit.
Edit an existing form or create a new form.
To update a form you already use, open the form from your list and choose the edit option. To build a new workflow, create a new form and add the fields you want your clients to complete.
This field is especially useful for referral forms, family contact forms, and forms where one client may need to submit information for multiple people.
Add the Family + Friends field to your form.
Inside the Form & Contract Builder, click the CONTACTS section on the right side of the builder. This section includes fields that collect and store client contact information.
Select the Family + Friends field to add it to your form. Once added, clients can enter multiple family or friend contacts in one form submission.
Save your form changes.
After the form is submitted by a client, the Family + Friends entries will be connected to that client’s contact profile. You can view them by going to the client’s profile in CONTACTS and opening the Family + Friends section.
You should see each submitted family or friend contact listed with the information entered on the form.
A studio may use this field on a referral form so a client can submit multiple friends or family members they want to refer. Instead of requiring a separate form submission for each person, the client can add multiple entries in one form.
This helps keep referral information organized and connected to the original client contact in your database.
