Your PhotoBiz Website Package includes tools to help protect you against spam. The Spam Protection section of your PhotoBiz control panel allows you to manage these security settings. This guide will walk you through how to access and adjust your spam protection settings.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on MY ACCOUNT in the left-side menu.Β
STEP TWO
- Hover over SETTINGS at the top-center of your My Account control panel.
- Click on SPAM PROTECTION in the drop-down menu.
TURN ON GOOGLE RECAPTCHA
- The first section in Spam Protection displays your Google reCAPTCHA keys and whether they are active.
- If reCAPTCHA is not enabled, follow this guide to activate it.
SPAM POLICY
This section allows you to block unwanted messages by adding:
- Blocked Domains & Email Addresses β Prevents submissions from specific email addresses or entire domains.
- Blacklisted IP Addresses β Stops submissions from known spam IP addresses.
- Restricted Words List β Blocks submissions containing certain words.
π‘ Tip: If you have Google reCAPTCHA enabled, you usually donβt need to add manual blocks.
π¨ Important Note: Be cautious when blocking entire domains. For example, adding gmail.com would prevent all Gmail users from submitting your forms.
ADDITIONAL SPAM PROTECTION OPTIONS
GDPR Policy Checkbox Label β Customize the label for GDPR compliance.
Backup Privacy Policy β Store a copy of your privacy policy for reference.
Marketing Emails Opt-in β Allow users to opt in to marketing emails.
