How to Set Up Your PhotoBiz ECommerce Store
The PhotoBiz ECommerce tool makes it easy to sell your photography online, from digital downloads to physical prints, photo products, and custom packages.
If you’re setting up your store for the first time, this guide will walk you through each step to get started. You’ll also find links to more detailed guides where needed.
STEP ONE
Configure Your Merchant, Shipping, and Sales Tax Options
Before you start selling, make sure you can process payments and handle shipping and tax correctly.
You can access all these options by hovering over the PAYMENT tab in your ECommerce control panel.
Merchant
Set up a merchant to process payments. We recommend using Stripe for secure credit card processing. You can connect other merchants if needed.

Shipping
Choose how you want to charge for shipping — either by flat rate or by a percentage of the total order (with a minimum amount if you prefer).

Taxes
Set up sales tax according to your local tax laws. If you’re unsure how to charge tax, consult a local tax professional.

STEP TWO
Add What You’re Going to Sell
Now it’s time to add the items you want to sell to your online store.
From your ECommerce control panel, go to SELL ONLINE to create your digital and physical products, prints, services, and packages.
If you offer tiered pricing or special pricing for specific clients, go ahead and add all the necessary versions of your products.
STEP THREE
Create Your Price Lists
Price lists let you organize different pricing for different customer groups — such as retail clients, wedding clients, or corporate buyers.
To create a price list, go to the SELL ONLINE tab and select PRICE LISTS.

STEP FOUR
Configure Your ECommerce Settings
The SETTINGS dropdown menu in your ECommerce control panel includes options to customize how your store operates.
General Settings
Manage your global store preferences like email order notifications, currency, order minimums, low-stock alerts, and how items display when the price is set to $0.00.

Create custom checkout options and add a personalized thank-you message to display or send after purchase.

FINAL STEP
Decide Where You Want to Sell
There are two main ways to sell online with PhotoBiz:
through private client galleries or through a public online store.
To Sell Through Private Client Galleries:
- Create a new event in the Client Galleries tab and select the price list you wish to use for the event.
- Check on your client's progress on their order in the Activity section of your Client Gallery control panel.
- View your orders in the ECommerce tab in the left side menu of your PhotoBiz account.
To Sell Through a Public Online Store:

Add a Products Block or Services Block to the page on your website that you would like have ecommerce available on.
- View your orders in the ECommerce tab in the left side menu of your PhotoBiz account.
Please note: you can also accept payments with your PhotoBiz account through the Form & Contract builder with Form Payments as well as the Quotes & Invoices tool.
