Overview
PhotoBiz ECommerce allows you to sell products directly through your website. You can use it to sell prints, physical products, digital items, packages, and other retail products for your photography business.
There are two main areas you will use when setting up your online store. The ECommerce control panel is where you create products, manage inventory, set up payment options, configure shipping, and collect sales tax. The Website Builder is where you design the pages your customers will visit to browse and purchase your products.
Think of ECommerce as the back-office area for your store, and the Website Builder as the storefront your clients see. This guide walks you through the main steps to prepare your store, build your retail website pages, and review everything before launch.
Before you begin, make sure you have access to your PhotoBiz account and know what products you want to sell. You should also have your product names, pricing, product images, shipping plan, and sales tax information ready.
If you are not sure what sales tax you need to collect, contact a qualified tax professional before launching your store.
Set up your logo and store branding.
Your branding controls how your business appears in areas such as customer receipts and order-related emails. Adding your logo helps your store look more professional and gives customers a more polished checkout experience.
Use the branding section in your ECommerce control panel to upload your logo and review your store branding details.
To ensure you get paid properly, you’ll need to configure your merchant, shipping, and tax settings. You’ll find all of these under the Payment tab in your control panel.
