Overview
Drop-down menus in the PhotoBiz Website Builder help keep your website navigation clean and easy to use. You can use a drop-down menu to group related pages and external links under one main navigation item.
This is helpful when you want to organize services, galleries, pricing pages, client resources, or other important links without crowding your main menu. This guide walks you through how to move pages and links into a drop-down menu and how to confirm they appear correctly on your website.
Before you begin, use a desktop or laptop computer with a mouse or trackpad.
Drag and drop is not supported on phones or tablet touchscreens. You will need a device that allows you to click, hold, and drag items in the Website Builder.
Drop-down menus are used as navigation containers. The drop-down name appears in your website navigation as the main menu label visitors can hover over or tap.
Keep the following in mind:

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. This will open your Website Builder, where you can manage your website pages, navigation, and content.
Locate the drop-down menu you want to use in your list of website pages.
If you have not created a drop-down menu yet, click NEW PAGE and choose DROP DOWN. After the drop-down menu has been created, return to your page list so you can move pages or links under it.
Click and hold the page or external link you want to move into the drop-down menu.
Drag the item directly beneath the drop-down menu name. When the drop-down menu is highlighted, release your mouse or trackpad to place the item inside the menu.
Review your page list to confirm the item appears nested under the drop-down menu.
Your navigation update will automatically save and apply to your website. View your live website and open the drop-down menu to confirm the page or link appears in the correct place.
On desktop, visitors can hover over the drop-down menu name to view the items inside it. On mobile navigation, visitors may tap the drop-down menu name to reveal the pages or links.
You can drag pages and external links within the drop-down menu to change the order they appear in your navigation.
You can also remove an item from a drop-down menu by clicking and holding the page or link, then dragging it back out from under the drop-down menu. Once it is no longer nested under the drop-down menu, it will appear as a regular item in your main navigation.
Drop-down menus are best for grouping related navigation items. For example, you might use a drop-down menu for:
To keep your navigation easy to use, avoid adding too many items to one drop-down menu.

Why can’t I add blocks to my drop-down menu?
A drop-down menu is only a navigation container. It is not a regular website page, so it does not include page blocks or content editing options.
Can I put one drop-down menu inside another drop-down menu?
No. PhotoBiz does not support placing a drop-down menu inside another drop-down menu. This keeps your website navigation easier to use on mobile devices.
Why won’t drag and drop work on my phone or tablet?
Drag and drop page organization requires a mouse or trackpad. Use a desktop or laptop computer when moving items into a drop-down menu.
Why did my page appear above or below the drop-down instead of inside it?
The page or link may have been released before the drop-down menu was highlighted. Drag the item again and release it only when the drop-down menu is highlighted.
Can I move external links into a drop-down menu?
Yes. Drop-down menus can contain website pages and external links.
