How to Get a YouTube Embed Code for Your PhotoBiz Website

Overview

The PhotoBiz Website Package includes a Video Block that allows you to display YouTube videos directly on your website.

To add a YouTube video, you will first copy the embed code provided by YouTube and then paste it into the Video Block in your PhotoBiz Website Builder.

This guide walks you through how to get the embed code for a standard YouTube video and add it to your PhotoBiz website.

STEP ONE

Open YouTube on a computer and go to the video you want to add to your PhotoBiz website. Below the video, click SHARE.

STEP TWO

In the sharing options that appear, click Embed.

YouTube will display the HTML embed code for the video.

STEP THREE

Review any available embed options you want to use. When you are ready, click COPY to copy the complete HTML embed code to your clipboard.

Be sure to copy the entire code provided by YouTube rather than only the video URL.

PRO TIP!

If you want to disable the "Watch on YouTube" option, be sure to uncheck the box for "Show player controls" before you copy the code.

FINAL STEP

Log into your PhotoBiz account and open the website page where you want the video to appear.

You can use the YouTube embed code with a Video Block or with a List Block Story Panel that supports embedded video. Paste the embed code into the appropriate field for the feature you are using, then click SAVE CHANGES to apply your updates.

Your YouTube video can now display on your PhotoBiz website.

Uploading Video Files to PhotoBiz

You do not have to host every video on YouTube. You can also upload video files directly to your PhotoBiz account.

The PhotoBiz Website Package allows files up to 4 MB to be uploaded. If you need to upload larger files, the Original Files premium upgrade increases the maximum file size to 50 MB.

For larger video files, embedding a video from YouTube or another supported video hosting service may be a better option because the video is hosted outside your PhotoBiz account.

If Your YouTube Video Won't Embed

If your video does not appear correctly after you add the embed code, check the following:

Make sure you copied the complete embed code from YouTube.
Confirm that the video is still available on YouTube.
Check whether the video owner allows the video to be embedded on other websites.
Some videos, including certain age-restricted content, may require visitors to watch the video directly on YouTube.
If you are adding a YouTube Short, use the separate YouTube Shorts instructions.
