Overview
PhotoBiz allows you to customize the labels used throughout your ECommerce system and Client Galleries from the Language settings in your account. This is helpful if you want your website wording to better match your brand, photography workflow, or the types of items you sell.
For example, you may want to rename “Products,” “Services,” “Appointments,” or other default labels so they make more sense for your clients. These label changes apply globally across your website, ECommerce, Client Galleries, and client receipts during checkout. This guide walks you through how to update your custom labels in PhotoBiz.
Before you begin, make sure you have:
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click MY ACCOUNT in the left-side menu.
This will open the main account area where you can manage your account settings, billing, users, and other global preferences.
At the top center of the My Account control panel, hover your mouse over SETTINGS and click LANGUAGES in the menu that opens.
This will open the Language settings area where you can customize the default wording used across your PhotoBiz account.
Update any label by replacing the existing text with your preferred wording.
You can customize both the singular and plural versions of each label. This helps PhotoBiz display the correct wording in different areas of your website, ECommerce tools, Client Galleries, and receipts.
The available labels include:
For example, you may choose to rename Product to Artwork, Print to Portrait, or Appointment to Session depending on how you want clients to view your offerings.
Click Save Changes to apply your custom labels.
After saving, your updated labels will appear globally across the areas of your PhotoBiz account where those labels are used. This can include your website, ECommerce checkout, Client Galleries, and client receipts.
Label changes apply globally. This means a label you update in the Language settings may appear in multiple areas of your PhotoBiz account.
Custom labels are especially useful if your business uses specific wording for sessions, artwork, products, services, galleries, or client orders.
You can return to the default wording at any time by removing your custom text and clicking Save Changes again.
Before changing a commonly used label, consider how the new wording will appear to clients during checkout, inside galleries, and on receipts. Clear labels help clients understand what they are purchasing or viewing.
Why did my label change appear in more than one place?
Language settings are global. If you customize a label, PhotoBiz applies that wording everywhere that label is used across supported tools.
Can I customize labels for only one gallery or one product?
No. Language label changes apply globally and are not limited to a single gallery, product, service, or page.
Can I change the labels back later?
Yes. You can return to MY ACCOUNT, open SETTINGS, click LANGUAGES, remove your custom wording, and click Save Changes.
Will these changes affect client receipts?
Yes. Custom labels can affect the wording clients see on receipts during the checkout process.
