How to Set Up Your Website Using PhotoBiz AI Website Creator

PhotoBiz AI Website Creator is the guided website setup experience available when you first log into your PhotoBiz account. It helps you quickly build a professionally structured photography website using your images and business information.

During the setup process, PhotoBiz automatically generates your website pages, layout design, text content, image alt text, and SEO metadata. By the end of the process, you will have a complete website ready to review, customize, and prepare for launch.

This setup experience is available for new PhotoBiz accounts that have not yet launched with a domain and is the recommended way to begin building your website.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

If available, you can also click BUILD YOUR WEBSITE from the Your Website Checklist. The PhotoBiz AI Website Creator launches automatically for new accounts and provides a guided setup experience to help you build your website step by step.

STEP TWO

Select your website template.

Click the green Select button on the template you want the AI Website Creator to use for your site design. The selected template will be outlined in teal. Click CONTINUE in the right-side panel to move to the next step.

If you prefer to skip the AI Website Creator setup, click SKIP SETUP in the right-side panel. A confirmation message will explain that your website will still be created using the selected template style, but placeholder images and text will be used instead.

Click Yes, Go Ahead to continue.

While you can customize everything later, completing the setup now saves time by automatically generating your website design, text content, image alt text, and SEO metadata.

STEP THREE

Upload your logo in JPG or PNG format.

After uploading your logo, it will appear in your website setup screen. If you want to replace it later, simply upload a new logo file and it will automatically replace the existing one.

If you do not have a logo, you can leave this section blank. Your business name will automatically display as a text logo on your website.

Starting with this step, a gray Back button appears next to the green CONTINUE button. You can use the Back button to return to the template selection step. You can also use the Website Creation checklist on the right side of the screen to navigate between completed steps.

Click CONTINUE to move forward.

STEP FOUR

Upload at least 25 images to your account.

PhotoBiz AI Website Creator uses these images to automatically build your website layout and populate your page designs. During this process, your images are optimized for web performance and assigned image alt text to improve accessibility and search engine visibility.

You can upload additional images later after your website has been created.

Once your images appear in the upload area, click CONTINUE in the right-side panel.

STEP FIVE

Add your business information and style details.

Enter your business name, location, photography specialty or services, style or approach, and brand voice. You will also choose the language used to generate your website content.

PhotoBiz currently supports the following languages for AI website creation:

English
Spanish
French
Italian

This information is used to generate your website copy, page titles, meta descriptions, and other SEO metadata for the pages created during setup.

If needed, you can use the Back button or the Website Creation checklist to revisit previous steps.

When you are finished entering your information, click CREATE WEBSITE to begin building your site.

FINAL STEP

Wait for your website to be created.

Once you click CREATE WEBSITE, the system begins generating your website and you can no longer return to previous setup steps.

The creation process typically takes about 12 minutes to complete. During this time, PhotoBiz builds your pages, layouts, text content, alt text, and SEO metadata using the information you provided.

When the process finishes, you can open the Website Editor to review your website and begin making custom edits.

CONFIRMATION

When setup is complete, you will see a Website Created Successfully message.

From here, you can:

Preview your website
Open the Website Editor to edit pages
Replace images or text
Add additional pages or content

All content generated by the AI Website Creator can be edited or replaced at any time.

What the AI Website Creator Does and Does Not Set Up

PhotoBiz AI Website Creator builds the foundation of your website. Other PhotoBiz features must be configured separately.

Core website pages
Page layouts and design styles using your images
AI-generated website text based on your business information
Image alt text
SEO meta titles, meta descriptions, and meta keywords

The AI Website Creator does not set up

Ecommerce products or services
Blog posts
Scheduler services
Quotes & Invoices
Client Galleries
Marketing tools or automations

These areas can be configured later from their respective sections of your PhotoBiz dashboard.

This guided setup is the standard first-login experience for new PhotoBiz accounts
The AI Website Creator is available only for accounts that have not launched with a domain
The Website Creation checklist on the right side of the screen tracks your progress
Green checkmarks indicate completed steps
You can return to completed steps before clicking CREATE WEBSITE
You can change templates, layouts, images, and SEO settings at any time after setup
You can reset your website and rebuild it with the AI Website Creator within the first 60 days, or any time before launching with a domain

AI Usage Note
Running the PhotoBiz AI Website Creator uses 25 AI requests from the 100 monthly AI requests included with your website package. This usage occurs when your website is generated and is reflected in your monthly AI request total.

Troubleshooting or FAQs

Why don’t I see the AI Website Creator option?

The AI Website Creator is available only for new PhotoBiz accounts that have not launched with a domain. If your website is already live, you can continue editing your site using the Website Editor.

Can I edit the image alt text created during setup?

Yes. Image alt text can be edited at any time from the Website Editor.

What pages receive metadata during setup?

Metadata is automatically created for the pages generated by the AI Website Creator during the setup process.

Does the AI Website Creator set up my entire PhotoBiz account?

No. The AI Website Creator builds your website pages and design. Other PhotoBiz features must be configured separately.

What happens if I skip the AI Website Creator setup?

If you skip setup, placeholder text and images will be used and your page copy, image alt text, and SEO metadata will need to be added manually later.
