How to Use Pop-Ups and Promo Bars on Your PhotoBiz Website
Pop-Ups and Promo Bars are great tools to help you grab your visitors' attention! Use them to promote sales, collect email sign-ups, make announcements, and more. You can display them on both your website pages and inside your Client Galleries Events.
This guide will walk you through how to set up a new Pop-Up or Promo Bar using the PhotoBiz Pop-Up Builder.
STEP ONE
Go to the Marketing Tools
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click MARKETING in the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Open the Pop-Up Builder
At the top center of your Marketing dashboard, click POP-UP BUILDER.
STEP THREE
Start a New Pop-Up or Promo Bar
Click NEW POP-UP to open the design tool.
You’ll be asked to choose whether you want to create a Pop-Up or a Promo Bar. Here’s the difference:
Promo Bars
Promo Bars appear at the top or bottom of your website or Client Galleries. They stay visible as users scroll, making them great for:
- Announcements
- Sales and discounts
- Quick links (like “Book Now” or “Subscribe”)
You can customize your Promo Bar with:
- Text
- Background images
- Buttons
Pro Tip: When placing your Promo Bar, consider mobile users. If your mobile menu icon is in the top corner, place your Promo Bar at the bottom to avoid blocking it.
Pop-Ups
Pop-Ups appear as a box or overlay when someone visits a specific page or event. They’re perfect for:
- Newsletter sign-ups
- Welcome messages
- Announcing limited-time offers
- Sharing a free download
You can design your pop-up with:
- Images or videos
- Text and buttons
- Forms (to collect emails or other info)
- Background images
You can even set multiple pop-ups to display on different pages or events.
