How to Add Search Keywords & Tags to Products for On-Site Search
PhotoBiz includes a built-in on-site search feature that helps your visitors quickly find your products, services, and blog posts. Once the search tool is enabled on your website, you can improve how your products appear in search results by adding search keywords and tags.
Adding both keywords and tags helps increase visibility and ensures your products appear when visitors search using related terms.
Keywords vs. Tags – What’s the Difference?
While both keywords and tags improve your website’s search results, they serve slightly different purposes:

Keywords are used only for your website’s internal on-site search. Adding relevant search keywords helps your products appear when visitors use the search bar on your site.

Tags organize and categorize your products and are used with your website's internal on-site search. They also connect to your CRM, allowing you to group contacts and send targeted marketing emails to customers who have purchased tagged products.
Using both together ensures your products are easy to find and can help boost your marketing efforts.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE on the left-hand menu.
STEP TWO
Hover over SELL ONLINE at the top of the screen and click PRODUCTS in the drop-down menu.
STEP THREE
Find and click on the name of the product you'd like to update, or create a new product.
STEP FOUR
Add Search Keywords
Click on the SEO & SEARCH button.
In the Search Keywords field, enter the words or phrases you want your product to appear for in your website’s on-site search. Separate each keyword with a comma.
Example:
prints, canvas, wall art, photo decor
When you’re finished, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the screen.
STEP FIVE
Add Product Tags
In the same product setup area, scroll down to the Tags section.
Tags help your site organize and connect related products, improving both on-site search results and marketing capabilities.
Type in a relevant tag that describes the product and click the Add button. You can add multiple tags in this section. As you add each tag, it will display below the entry field.
When you use product tags:

Tags are automatically linked to your CRM when customers purchase a product, allowing you to segment your contacts and send targeted marketing campaigns.
Click SAVE CHANGES when you’re done.

Test Your On-Site Search
Once keywords and tags are added, visit your website and try searching for one of your new terms. Any products that include those keywords or tags will appear in the search results.
