Supported Payment Providers and Payment Methods in PhotoBiz

Overview

PhotoBiz supports several trusted payment providers that allow you to accept online payments through ECommerce, Client Galleries, Scheduler, Forms, and Quotes & Invoices. You can connect one primary credit and debit card gateway while also offering PayPal and Offline Payments as additional checkout options.

This guide explains which payment providers are supported, how your primary card gateway works, where Offline Payments are available, and what to know about processing fees and PCI compliance. By the end, you will understand which payment options you can offer through your PhotoBiz account.

Supported Merchant Providers

PhotoBiz supports the following providers for online payments:

  • Square
  • Stripe
  • PayPal
  • Authorize.net
  • PayJunction
  • Payflow Pro

These are the only online payment providers that can be connected to PhotoBiz. Custom or unsupported payment gateways cannot be added to your account.

All supported online payment providers can be used with:

  • PhotoBiz ECommerce
  • Client Galleries
  • Scheduler
  • Forms
  • Quotes & Invoices

You can sign up for and connect Stripe or Square directly through the PhotoBiz ECommerce Dashboard. To connect PayPal, Authorize.net, PayJunction, or Payflow Pro, you must already have an active account with that provider.

Transaction Fees and Processing Costs

PhotoBiz does not charge any transaction fees or commissions on payments processed through your account.

Each payment provider sets and charges its own transaction and processing fees. To review your fees, log in to your merchant account and check the billing or reports section provided by your payment processor.

Primary Credit and Debit Card Gateway

You can connect only one primary credit and debit card gateway to your PhotoBiz account at a time.

The following providers can serve as your primary card gateway:

  • Stripe
  • Square
  • Authorize.net
  • PayJunction
  • Payflow Pro

Your primary gateway processes standard credit and debit card transactions across your supported PhotoBiz tools.

PayPal does not replace your primary card gateway. You can offer PayPal as an additional payment option alongside your primary provider.

For example, you can use Stripe as your primary card gateway while also allowing customers to select PayPal during checkout.

Additional Payment Options

In addition to your primary credit and debit card gateway, you can offer:

  • PayPal
  • Offline Payments

PayPal processes the payment through the customer’s PayPal account or through the payment options PayPal makes available during checkout.

Offline Payments allow customers to complete an order or booking without submitting an online payment through PhotoBiz.

Where Offline Payments Are Available

Offline Payments are supported with:

  • PhotoBiz ECommerce
  • Client Galleries
  • Scheduler

Offline Payments are not supported with:

  • Forms
  • Quotes & Invoices

If you need to collect payment for a form or invoice, the client must use one of your supported online payment providers.

Examples of Offline Payment Methods

You can create an Offline Payment method for any payment option you collect separately from PhotoBiz, including:

  • Payment in your studio
  • Cash
  • Check
  • Zelle
  • Venmo
  • Bank transfer
  • Payment collected by phone

Zelle, Venmo, and similar services are not directly integrated with PhotoBiz. PhotoBiz does not send the payment to those services or confirm whether the payment was completed.

You are responsible for providing the customer with any instructions they need and confirming that you received the payment.

Offline Payment Order Status

When a customer selects an Offline Payment method, the order is created with a Pending payment status.

After you receive the payment, you must manually update the order’s payment status to Paid in the ECommerce Dashboard.

Changing the status allows your PhotoBiz records to reflect that the payment was received. PhotoBiz cannot automatically verify payments collected through cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, or another offline method.

Transaction Fees and Processing Costs

PhotoBiz does not charge transaction fees or collect a commission from payments processed through your account.

Your connected payment provider may charge fees for:

  • Credit and debit card processing
  • PayPal transactions
  • Refunds
  • Disputes or chargebacks
  • Currency conversion
  • Other account or processing services

Each provider controls its own pricing, payout schedule, account requirements, and processing policies.

Log in to your merchant account to review the fees and terms that apply to your account. Contact your payment provider directly if you have questions about a transaction, payout, dispute, or processing charge.

PCI Compliance Certificate

PhotoBiz provides a PCI Compliance Certificate for your account.

PCI compliance refers to security standards designed to protect payment card information. You may be asked to provide a certificate when working with a bank, merchant provider, financial institution, or other organization.

The PhotoBiz PCI Compliance Certificate documents the compliance information available for the PhotoBiz platform. Your payment provider may have additional PCI requirements for your merchant account.

Feature Requests for Additional Merchants

PhotoBiz currently supports only the online payment providers listed in this article.

You can submit or vote on a feature request if you would like PhotoBiz to support another payment provider in the future.

The PhotoBiz Feature Request page allows you to:

  • Search for existing payment provider requests
  • Vote for an existing request
  • Submit a new provider for consideration
  • Share details about how the provider would support your workflow

Submitting or voting on a request does not guarantee that the provider will be added. Feature requests help the PhotoBiz team understand customer interest and consider improvements for future development.
