How to Set Custom Notification Emails for PhotoBiz Form Submissions

Overview

The PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder sends an email notification when someone submits one of your forms. By default, notifications are sent to the email address used to log in to your PhotoBiz account.

You can choose a different notification address for each form or send notifications to multiple email addresses. When you enter custom addresses, notifications are sent only to those recipients unless you also include the account login email.

This guide explains how to access a form’s settings and update its Email Notification field.

Help Prevent Notifications From Going to Spam

Before using a custom email address for form notifications, add the following address to each recipient’s contacts or safe senders list:

emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com

This can help your email provider recognize PhotoBiz notifications and reduce the chance of messages being filtered into a spam, junk, promotions, or quarantine folder.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click FORMS in the left-side menu.

This opens the Forms Dashboard, where you can manage your forms, contracts, questionnaires, submissions, and form settings.

STEP TWO

Click FORMS at the top center of the Forms Dashboard to view your forms.

STEP THREE

Locate the form you want to update and click the form name to open the form editor.

If you have several forms or form categories, use the search field on the right side of the Forms control panel to find the form by name.

STEP FOUR

Click the gear icon toward the top right corner of the form editor.

In the menu that opens, click Settings. This opens the settings for the selected form, including its email notification settings.

FINAL STEP

Locate the Email Notification field and enter the email address where you want PhotoBiz to send notifications for new form submissions.

To send notifications to multiple recipients, enter each email address separated by a comma.

When you enter one or more addresses in this field, notifications are sent only to those addresses. The email address used to log in to the PhotoBiz account will not receive a separate notification unless you also include it in the Email Notification field.

If you leave the field blank, PhotoBiz sends submission notifications to the email address used to log in to the account. Leaving the field blank does not turn off notifications.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes. New submissions to this form will now use the updated notification settings.

Additional Options and Helpful Notes

  • Email notification settings are managed separately for each form. Updating one form does not change the notification settings for your other forms.
  • You can send notifications to a studio manager, assistant, team inbox, or another valid email address.
  • Include the account login email in the Email Notification field if you want it to receive notifications along with your custom recipients.
  • Updated notification settings apply to new submissions received after you save your changes.

Troubleshooting Form Notification Emails

If you are not receiving form submission notifications, open the affected form and review its Email Notification field.

If the field is blank, check the inbox for the email address used to log in to the PhotoBiz account.

If the field contains a custom address, confirm that the address is entered correctly. If you entered multiple addresses, make sure each address is separated by a comma.

Check each recipient’s spam, junk, promotions, and quarantine folders. You should also confirm that emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com has been added to the recipient’s contacts or safe senders list.

If notifications still do not arrive, contact PhotoBiz Support. The receiving email address may need to be reviewed for blocked or non-deliverable messages.
