Setting Up Email Notifications for Orders in PhotoBiz

Getting notified when a customer places an order, pays an invoice, or books a session is super helpful—and you can choose exactly where those email notifications go. By default, PhotoBiz sends order notifications to the email address you use to log in. But you can update this to send to one or multiple email addresses of your choice.

This guide will show you how to update your email notification settings in your ECommerce control panel.

đź“© Before You Begin: Add PhotoBiz to Your Contacts

To make sure you don’t miss any important messages, we recommend adding emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com to your contacts or safe senders list in your email account. This helps prevent notifications from getting filtered as spam.

💡 IMPORTANT: Email Delivery Notice

PhotoBiz sends notification emails for many features—like ecommerce orders, form submissions, client gallery activity, scheduling, and membership renewals.

To ensure reliable delivery, we use email validation. If an email address bounces (due to issues like an inbox being full or the address being invalid), it may be marked as non-deliverable and added to a bounce list.

If you’re not receiving notifications, contact our Passionate Support team via phone or live chat, and we’ll help get everything working again.


STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click ECOMMERCE from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Click on SETTINGS, then choose GENERAL from the drop-down menu.

FINAL STEP

In the Order Notification Emails field, enter the email address or addresses where you'd like to receive notifications.

– To send notifications to multiple people, separate the addresses with commas.
– Scroll down and click SAVE CHANGES to apply your updates.

You’re all set! Going forward, order notifications will be sent to the email(s) you entered.

âś… WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

Once your settings are saved, you’ll start receiving email notifications whenever a client places an order through your website, client galleries, scheduler, or pays an invoice.

Each order notification includes:

  • Order Number
  • Order Total
  • Client Name
  • Order Status

You'll also have the option to click and view the receipt to see full order details.
