Overview
Scheduling blog posts in advance helps you stay consistent without needing to log in and publish each post manually. This is especially useful when you want to plan your content around busy seasons, promotions, or upcoming sessions. In this guide, you will learn how to schedule a blog post to publish automatically on a specific date and time. By the end, your post will be set to go live exactly when you want it to.
Before you begin, make sure you already have a blog post draft created or are ready to create a new post.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click BLOG in the left-side menu. This opens your blog dashboard, where you can create, edit, and manage your blog posts.
Open the draft you want to schedule, or click the New Post button to create a new blog post. If you are creating a new post, add your title, content, images, and any other details you want included before moving on to the publishing options.
When your post is ready, click Publish in the top right corner of the editor. This opens the publishing options for your blog post.
Choose Schedule Publishing, then select the date and time you want your blog post to go live. Save your selection to schedule the post.
Once this is set, your blog post will remain in draft status until the scheduled date and time. At that point, it will automatically publish to your blog.
Scheduling posts is a simple way to maintain a steady blogging routine, especially when you are busy with client work.
Many photographers find it helpful to write several posts at once and schedule them throughout the month. This can make it easier to keep your blog active without needing to stop and write new content every week.
For best results, try to post consistently. A regular posting schedule can help keep your website fresh and give visitors more reasons to return.
