Troubleshooting Image Display Issues in the Website Builder
When you upload images to your PhotoBiz Website Builder, they’re automatically resized for optimal display and faster loading. Images are adjusted to a maximum width of 3000px or a maximum height of 1730px, depending on their original aspect ratio.
If your images aren’t displaying correctly in your preview, here are a few common reasons — and how to fix them.
Issue: Placeholder Images Are Showing Instead of Your Photos
Why It Happens:
New accounts, pre-designed pages, and pre-designed blocks often include placeholder images as examples.
How to Fix It:
To remove a placeholder image:
- Drag it to the Delete icon in the editor.
- This clears the space and lets your uploaded images display correctly.
Issue: Only 10 Images Are Showing on Mobile
Why It Happens:
To keep your website loading quickly on mobile devices, PhotoBiz limits visible images to 10 per block by default. The rest load after a user clicks “Load More.”
How to Fix It:
- In your image, list, or blog block settings, enable the Load More button.
- You can also customize the button text (e.g., “View More Photos”).
Issue: Not Enough Rows or Columns to Display All Images
Why It Happens:
Your block may be set to show fewer rows or columns than needed.
How to Fix It:
- Go to your block layout settings.
- Increase the number of rows or columns to accommodate all uploaded images.
Keep in Mind:
Even with adjusted settings, mobile users will still only see 10 images at a time before needing to tap “Load More.” This keeps your site loading quickly on phones and tablets.
