What is a File Copy?

July 06, 2023 | By: PhotoBiz Knowledge Base

The image clipboard is built into all PhotoBiz accounts and allows you to use an image as many times as you'd like within your account while only having to upload it once and it counts towards your file count that one time. When you upload an image to your clipboard or move a copy of an existing image to your clipboard, you can create a copy. This guide will show you how to make a copy of a file from your image clipboard.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on FILES in the left side menu. This will allow you to check and see what images you've may have in place on your clipboard or upload a new image to your clipboard as well.

Pro Tip: The IMAGE CLIPBOARD can be found in any area of your account that allows for uploading images.

STEP TWO

Navigate to the WEBSITE tab in your left side menu that opens and go to the page and image block that you want to add your image to the clipboard to create a copy.

STEP THREE

Drag the image thumbnail in the right side menu over the CLIPBOARD button to create a copy of it.

STEP FOUR

Now you've created a copy of this file on your image clipboard, you can use this image anywhere in your website, blog, client galleries, ecommerce, scheduler, or marketing.

You can check an image or all images to insert an image into a page or to delete images from the clipboard.

If you ever need to check and see how many copies of images you've used in your PhotoBiz account, simply click on FILES in the left side menu and then SPACE at the top of the Files section.
