Creating a Fixed Package in PhotoBiz Client Galleries

PhotoBiz Client Galleries allows you to sell print packages to your customers. You can choose between four different types of packages: Fixed Package, Flexible Package, Digital Fixed Package, or Digital Full Event.

This guide will walk you through how to create a Fixed Package (aka traditional print package).

🖼️ What’s a Fixed Package?

A Fixed Package is something we're all probably familiar with—even if not by name. If you've ever had school portraits or holiday photos with Santa, you’ve likely purchased one!

A typical Fixed Package might include:

  • 3 – 5x7 prints
  • 2 – 8x10 prints
  • 1 – 11x14 print

Usually, all prints are from a single pose, but you can also create packages that include multiple poses. With PhotoBiz, you can customize the size, quantity, and pose count to create the perfect combo for your clients.

🧠 Want help choosing the right package type?

Check out our guide on selecting the right type of package for your clients.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Navigate to Packages

Hover over SELL ONLINE at the top and select PACKAGES from the dropdown.

STEP THREE

Start a New Package

Click the NEW PACKAGE button to begin.

STEP FOUR

Choose Package Type

Select FIXED as your package type, then click Next.

STEP FIVE

Enter Package Info

Add the following details:

  • Package Name
  • Description
  • Number of Poses – This determines how many individual images your client can use in the package
  • Tags, Tax/Shipping settings, and Active Status

💡 Example: If you set 10 poses, the client can choose 10 different images to use with the prints you’ll define in the next step.

STEP SIX

Add Your Print Sizes

Here’s where you define what’s included in the package. Add each print size and quantity.

Click Add Print Size for each new item. When done, click Create Package.

📌 Example:
If your package has:

  • 3 – 5x7s
  • 2 – 8x10s
  • 1 – 11x14

… and allows 10 poses, your client can assign those 10 poses to the included print sizes however they’d like.

STEP SEVEN

Fine-Tune Your Package

After creating your package, you’ll be taken to the package settings page, where you can:

  • Edit Details: Change name, price, tax, etc.
  • Edit Print Sizes
  • Add Display Images (for visual reference, not fulfillment)
  • Set SEO Meta Info
  • Enable Add-Ons: Let clients add more prints or poses for an extra fee.

FINAL STEP

Add to a Price List

To make your new package available for purchase, add it to a price list that’s connected to your Client Gallery event.

Here is how a Fixed package will work

We've included a walk through of the process for completing a Fixed Package to understand how your customer will complete their order in their Client Galleries event.

Once your customer has accessed their gallery with the appropriate price list, they will need to add a pose or image in their gallery to the cart. To do this, they will click the add to cart button. Once the button is clicked, they will be prompted to put in their email. This is so that you can track their activity in the ACTIVITY tab in Client Galleries.

How to look at your customer's Client Galleries Activity

After adding their first pose to the cart, they must choose the Packages section.

Then they can choose which of your packages they want to apply the image to.

Then they will add that package to their cart.

From there, they can choose which of your prints they want the pose to apply to by clicking the plus button. They will repeat this process for the rest of their poses.

The package will show as complete when "Prints available" shows as 0.

If your client has selected a package, they will not be able to check out until they have selected the required number of prints.
