How to Add Special Instructions to a Scheduler Service

The PhotoBiz Scheduler allows clients to book appointments directly through your website for both free and paid sessions. Each Scheduler service includes a Special Instructions section that lets you request additional information or provide important notes clients should review before booking. This guide walks you through how to add or edit Special Instructions for a Scheduler service. By the end of this article, your clients will be prompted to review and respond to your instructions during the booking process.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click SCHEDULER from the left-side menu. This opens your Scheduler control panel where all services are managed.

STEP TWO

At the top of the Scheduler control panel, click SERVICES to view your list of Scheduler services.

STEP THREE

Click on the name of the Scheduler service you want to edit. You can also create a new Scheduler service if needed. Selecting a service opens its settings in the right-side menu.

STEP FOUR

In the right-side menu, click INSTRUCTIONS. This section allows you to configure the Special Instructions field that clients will see during booking.

In this section, you can complete the following options:

  • Label
    This is the visible title shown to clients on the Scheduler booking page.

  • Description
    This text appears below the label and explains what information you are requesting from the client.

  • Required
    Toggle this option to Yes if clients must complete the field before they can book their session, or No if it is optional.

After entering your settings, click SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the right-side menu to apply your updates and make them live.

Once saved, your Special Instructions will appear during the client booking process. Clients will see the label, description, and a text box where they can enter the requested information. If the field is marked as required, clients must complete it before they can schedule their session.

What Your Customer's Will See

When a Special Instructions field is enabled, clients will see your custom label and description displayed on the Scheduler booking page along with a text field to enter their response. This ensures you receive important details before the appointment is confirmed.
