Overview
PhotoBiz Forms are included with your account at no extra cost as part of the integrated Studio Management tools. The PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder is included with your website package membership and allows you to create forms, contracts, questionnaires, waivers, and other client forms directly inside your PhotoBiz account.
You may still choose to use a third-party form builder if you already have forms created with another provider or need a specific feature from that service. You can add many third-party forms to your PhotoBiz website by placing the provider’s embed code inside an HTML Block.
Some third-party form providers PhotoBiz clients have used include Jotform, Constant Contact, Wufoo, 17Hats, LeadSavage, HoneyBook, Mailchimp, and Typeform.
You will need the embed code from your third-party form provider before adding the form to your PhotoBiz website. This code is usually provided by the third-party service under options such as Embed, Share, Publish, or Website Code.
PhotoBiz Support can help you add the HTML Block and insert the code into your website. For questions about the form’s design, layout, fields, submissions, notifications, or functionality, you will need to contact your third-party form provider’s support team.
Get the embed code from your third-party form provider. This is the code that allows the form to display on your PhotoBiz website.
Most providers include this code in the form’s sharing or publishing settings. Copy the full embed code before continuing to your PhotoBiz account.
Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu.
This will open your Website Builder, where you can edit your website pages and add new content blocks.
Click the page name where you want to add the third-party form. You can also add a new page if you want the form to appear on its own page.
After the page opens, add an HTML Block to the page. You can click the HTML icon on the right side of your screen to add the block to the bottom of the page, or you can drag the HTML icon to your preferred location on the page. When the teal placement line appears, release your mouse to drop the block into that location.
Click inside the HTML Block or click the pencil icon at the top right of the block. Choose Advanced to open the HTML Block settings in the right-side menu.
Paste your third-party form embed code into the HTML code box. Click Save Changes when you are finished.
Your third-party form should now display on the selected page of your PhotoBiz website. The Save Changes button automatically applies the update to your website.
The HTML Block can also be used for other types of third-party embed code, such as social media feeds, widgets, scheduling tools, and other custom code provided by outside services.
The HTML Block includes a background color option. This setting can override the background color selected in your global color settings under the DESIGN tab.
You can customize:
Click the color square or enter a HEX color code to update the background color for the HTML Block.
You can add a background image behind your HTML Block. You can upload your own custom background image or choose one from the Background Library.
If you add a background image, you can choose how the image displays using the Background Settings.
Background Settings include:
Click Save Changes after updating your background settings.
Why is my third-party form not displaying?
If your form does not display after you paste the embed code, confirm that you copied the full embed code from your third-party provider. Some providers offer multiple sharing options, and only the embed or website code will display the form directly on your page.
Can PhotoBiz Support customize my third-party form?
PhotoBiz Support can help you add the HTML Block and insert the code into your PhotoBiz website. For changes to the form fields, design, submission settings, email notifications, payment settings, or provider-specific features, contact your third-party form provider.
Can I use PhotoBiz Forms instead?
Yes. PhotoBiz Forms are included with your account at no extra cost as part of the integrated Studio Management tools. The PhotoBiz Form & Contract Builder is a good option if you want to keep your forms, contacts, contracts, and client communication inside your PhotoBiz account.
