Overview
Form categories help you organize your PhotoBiz forms inside the Forms control panel. You can use categories to group similar forms together, move existing forms into folders, and keep your account easier to manage as your form library grows. You can also rename or delete categories when needed. This guide walks you through how to create a new form category and manage forms inside it.
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click FORMS in the left-side menu. This will open your Forms control panel, where all of your existing forms and categories are stored.
In the Forms control panel, click NEW CATEGORY. This option allows you to create a new category folder that can be used to organize both new and existing forms.
Enter the name you want to use for the category, then click ADD CATEGORY. The category name is only visible internally in your control panel, so it is best to choose a name that is clear and easy for you to recognize later.
Once the category is created, you will see a confirmation message that says The category has been added.
Click FORMS to return to your list of forms. Your new form category will appear below any existing form categories in the control panel.
To move an existing form into the new category, click and drag the form into the category name. This allows you to quickly reorganize forms you have already created.
To create a new form directly inside the category, click the category name first and then click NEW FORM. This will place the new form inside that selected category from the start.
Your form category is now ready to use. You can organize existing forms by dragging them into the category, or create new forms directly inside it. When everything is set up correctly, your Forms control panel will be easier to manage and your forms will be grouped in a way that makes sense for your workflow.
Renaming a Form Category
If you need to update the name of a category, click the pencil icon next to the category name. This lets you edit the label so it better matches the forms stored inside it.
Deleting a Form Category
If you no longer need a category, click the trash can icon next to the category name. A category must be empty before it can be deleted. This helps prevent accidental removal of forms that are still stored inside it.
Using categories can make it much easier to manage contact forms, questionnaires, lead forms, and event forms, especially if you have multiple workflows in your account.
If you have older forms you no longer use but want to keep for record purposes, you can create a category called Retired Forms. Move those forms into this category to keep your Forms control panel clean while still retaining access to past submissions.
